COMMUNITY FEATURE
Hi Brynn, please introduce yourself.
I’m Brynn Wallner. I'm a writer, consultant, painter and founder of Dimepiece.co – a platform dedicated to all things women and watches. Based in NYC.
If you were having a Dimepiece dinner party, who would be your dream guests (dead or alive) and why?
I’d invite Gérald Genta, whom I lovingly call “GG”, the now-passed designer of the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. I have so many questions for GG! I’d also invite Chloe Sevigny and ask her why she never wears a watch. Also, Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend because he’s so smart and cute. My friend Kareem Rahma (who is alive and well)... I see him all the time but he’d be a great, entertaining guest. Also, Tyler, the Creator (I’d ask him if I could try on his Cartier Crash).
What's a brand you've recently spotted?
Wanderruff. I’ve seen this brand around and would love to try it out for my lil dog Honey. She goes everywhere with me and her harness/leash has gotten a bit rough around the edges.
What are some brands you've recently tested?
Anything else in your current rotation?
I’m a creature of habit, almost to a fault. I rarely if ever veer from my current (permanent) rotation. I pick up Cafe Himalaya in the East Village every single Friday (followed by Levain cookies), I get juice and soup at East Village Organic a million times a week, I take long walks around downtown Manhattan with my dog Honey, buy my books at McNally Jackson, and sip NYC tap water out of the big Essentia bottle that I get use out of for three weeks (and then I’ll go get a new one).
