  • Soothing, fragrance-light formulations
  • Occasionally thick, goopy texture

  • Polarizing cocoa lotion scent

Vaseline earns reviews that affirm it works: its Healing Jelly, Radiant Hand Butter, and Intensive Care lotions reliably soothe very dry skin, heal cracked areas, and lock in moisture with a protective barrier. Strengths include versatile, non-greasy options that absorb quickly, but weaknesses surface around thick “goopy” textures, inconsistent lip hydration or longevity (especially some Rosy Lips and mini tubs), melting of the Jelly Stick in heat, scent dislikes, and concerns about petroleum and animal testing.

  • I am such a big fan of the Vaseline Radiant Hand Butter, it works so well! My hands are normally pretty dry and this hand butter is absolutely amazing! I use it just about every day to help with keeping my hands soft.

  • Love how hydrating vaseline is for the lips. As a dentist, we use this for our patients all the time. The rosy tint is extremely faint, if there at all, but I still love it more than the clear petrolatum. For personal use, I also love the chapstick formation versus the mini tub because I don't have to get my fingers dirty while using it.

  • Vaseline is the only lip balm I use because it truly moisturizes without drying my lips out. It doesn’t create that annoying cycle where you need more the more you apply. Plus, the tube packaging makes it quick, easy, and mess-free to use anytime.

  • This will always be the gold standard for healing and protecting dry or flaky skin. Perfect for semi-sensitive areas like your nose or lips, it can be used just about anywhere. You can find it at most stores at a decent price, and it will last you a long time!

  • I have used the Vaseline intensive care cocoa radiant 48-hour moisture hydration lotion for a while now and I would not pick it over other moisturizing lotions or oils because although it is a good price I'm not a huge fan of the smell.

  • As someone who picks at the skin around her fingernails, I find Vaseline helpful for when I want to quickly nourish my skin on my hands. The petroleum jelly is easy to scoop out of the container. I don't like how "goopy" it is, but that's what this product is. It's thick, sticky and yet will moisturize even the driest of skin. It also works well in conjunction with diaper creams for changing baby diapers.

  • I love the versatility of Vaseline and use it for lots of things. I like to keep it in my purse just in case. I use it on my lips sometimes and occasionally on dry patches of skin. It's a really helpful product.

  • I love this brand of petroleum jelly. It’s the OG the classic, the iconic moisturizing your lips and whatever else you use petroleum jelly for I’ve even used it to remove my make up. I’ve used it as a brow gel as well.

  • Not a fan of the mini lip therapy tubs. I've trued several of the flavors over the years and product is hard to get out with just a pinky nail in a small opening. The scent and color is fine, but I did not fid the product hydrating or ling lasting

  • "Vaseline is my dry skin savior! ❄️💅 I slather it on my hands, feet, and lips whenever they need a moisture boost. It's like a protective barrier that locks in hydration and soothes dryness. I love how versatile it is - from a lip balm to a hair mask, Vaseline's petroleum jelly works wonders! 💯"

  • Vaseline Healthy Bright™ Gluta-Hya Serum Lotion really helped even out my skin tone and gave my face a nice glow ✨. I noticed my dark spots looking lighter after just a few days, which was impressive. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and feels great under makeup or alone 💧.

  • This is one of those timeless staples I’ll never stop using. It’s the only thing that fully hydrates my extremely dry eyelids and under-eyes without irritation. Simple, soothing, and a hero in my routine—especially during colder months. It’s obviously thick and may evoke some sensorial issues but for me it feels great.

  • This Vaseline Healing Jelly Stick is a lifesaver for dry patches, especially on elbows, heels, or cuticles. 💧 It glides on smoothly without feeling greasy and is completely fragrance-free, which makes it great for sensitive skin. The only downside is that it can melt a bit in hot weather, so I avoid carrying it in my bag during summer.

  • Vaseline Rosy Lips es perfecto para hidratar y suavizar los labios secos, con un toque de color rosado muy natural. También lo uso en los párpados resecos, ¡y funciona genial! Siempre tengo uno en mi bolso 🩷🩷🩷

  • This unscented body lotion is super moisturizing and perfect for very dry or sensitive skin. It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy and helps repair rough, flaky patches. A reliable, no-frills lotion that really works. 🧴✨💧

  • I always keep a mini Vaseline just for my lips—it instantly softens and heals dryness. It gives a natural, healthy shine and keeps my lips smooth for hours. Honestly, nothing beats it for simple, effective lip care.

  • Vaseline is another one of my go-to brands for various products. In particular, I enjoy using their lotion and lip products. Both have excellent quality and are affordable options for issues such as dry skin or chapped lips. The only complaint I have or aspect to be aware of is regarding the lip healing product. There is no flavored option that I am aware of; however, it does help heal lips quickly, which is more important in the long run to me.

  • Vaseline Intensive Care Adanced Repair and Essential Healing are the only lotions I’ve found that effectively cure my dry hands in the winter. I love that they’re not strongly fragranced and that they work into my hands quickly without leaving them feeling greasy. Honestly, Vaseline Intensive care is probably better than products I’ve tried that cost ten times the price.

  • I understand Vaseline has been recommended by providers. I found myself itching with it instead of it helping. If I put this on my lips. My lips would itch. Vaseline unfortunately has petroleum which derived from petrol aka gasoline derivative so I’m staying away from that. Because what you apply to your skin you absorb into your body. There are good other alternatives out there!

  • Vaseline is a well trusted brand that has been around for years. I have tried many of their products over the course of time and do not have any complaints. They are a staple. I especially loved the new radiant collection. The lotion is whipped and feels like butter. My skin is so smooth after.
