I love energy drinks but unfortunately this one didn’t make the mark for me. I tried the peach one and found the taste to be really off - it tasted artificially sweetened and had a medicinal flavor. I’m not sure if perhaps other flavors would be better, but peach was off. I do think it’s cool that it doesn’t have caffeine and love the addition of alpha GPC as a pre-workout. Also, love that they don’t use the cheap version of B12 in this.
I really like this drink! I got the berry flavor which I didn't love - But I was thuroughly surprised by the amount of energy/focus for not having caffeine! Researching more about their hero ingredient, paraxanthine, it does aim to offer the awakening benefits of caffeine without the jitters & crash, and it did just that! Very impressed
I can't remember if we bought these or were sent a case to try, but I came across Update in my company's office fridge/pantry. PROS: - The unboxing and packaging experience is really cool. - The product description on their website is pretty accurate - the drinks taste more like a flavored seltzer water than a fake-flavor energy drink. I actually liked this, because I feel I feel like most energy drinks taste like chemicals. - I dig that they're zero sugar - Didn't get a crash after (but also didn't feel as focused as caffeine based energy drinks?) CONS: - I tried all 4 flavors, and I pretty much only liked the peach one. - If your body is used to drinking caffeine regularly, you're probably going to get headaches until you go through the "withdrawal" period. These are caffeine - free - IMO, less powerful than caffeine-based energy drinks TLDR: Probably wouldn't buy again unless I was trying to go off caffeine forever OR they changed their flavors.

I freaking love this stuff. The taste and the function! It's wild that this doesn't have caffeine in it because it get's me amped and focused. The mandarin, is probably my favorite flavor of the bunch.
I stumbled upon them sampling at my local supermarket and bought a can, took it home and was incredibly surprised how much focus I had and how I felt no crash. I then went deep into researching Paraxanthine (reading white papers, podcasts, etc). I'm now a fan and take one almost daily as my afternoon energy boost... I still like to start my day with coffee. ps - I prefer the peach or mandarin

As someone who is hyper sensitive to caffeine, Update is among the best solutions I've tried. My favourite is the Peach flavor, and I order every month or so.

Offering a bigger pack size (e.g., 12 instead of 6) would be beneficial, especially to reduce packaging waste, etc.
