After multiple years of riding rentals and demo boards, the 2021 Cadet (this is the 2023 model: https://unitedshapes.com/store/p/cadet) was the first board I purchased for myself and wow does it let you do everything. This is a moderately stiff board lets you both race away when you want and effortlessly carve at high speeds; while also letting you easily fly through deep powder with its early-rise nose. The Cadets beauty is in its simplicity. As someone that wants every product designed by Apple's design team, the Cadet is the closest board I've come across to that.
