We LOVED our machine and had no issues until the 1 year mark. Our machine started leaking and causing messes even leaking onto our floor without us knowing causing it to warp. Another issue that we came across was the machine wouldn’t show that the water tank is empty and not make a coffee causing us to waste our coffee beans. I have contacted Terra Kaffe about our issue and the best they can do is have us send the machine back and pay $250 for a repair. I find it incredibly disappointing because we were 300 brews over the amount of brews allowed under the warranty. Which half of those are probably wasted coffee brews where the machine didn’t register that the tank is empty. My husband and I have not decided if we will send this machine back for the repair or if we should invest in a machine that won’t have these issues.

If you like dark roast coffee that has any oil residue dont buy ! I tried for one month to change settings to accomodate dark roast coffee beans to no avail. Coffee pods ended in discard tray with half the water for coffee going into discard tray for pods. Put the unit in garage and brought back my Delonghi Magnifica !!!!!

3/7/2024 Update to my Review I had to take my Terra Kaffe back in for service in October 2023 . 5 months later, we still can't get the mechanical part to fix the machine. The only communication is via email, they can't support their customer with service or parts needed for their machine. Last month they finally sent something and it was just one part, and now we are waiting for the second part after emailing back and forth. I spent $135 and yet I don't have my machine fixed. I wished I just tossed this machine into the garbage after it started giving me issues insted of putting money into fixing it. After being an owner of Terra Kaffe for 2 years I can tell you this machine is made to last 12 months, its not for someone who will want to use it daily more than once as mechanics will wear out fast and you will not able to enjoy it .Put your money towards other coffee machines who has been around and can support their products . Just wanted to say as Terra Kaffe owner I love this machine and it makes amazing coffee. And yes I would recommend and did recommend it to 5 of my friends who have bought it . But I do have to say after enjoying coffee for months right at the 1 year mark ,I started to have issues with this machine. Not making correct amount of coffee, water on counter after brewing or not dispensing coffee just water. I contacted the terra kaffe customer service ,we where not able to determine the issue ,they said since i purchased machine 13 months ago I am not under warranty but for $250 I can buy repair package that includes shipping and handling and they can look at the machine as issues appears to be internal. Of course I was not happy paying this money and shipping my machine from FL to NY (once out of my hands anything can happen, that was my thinking). I decided to take my machine to a local espresso machine repair shop. They found evidence of corrosion, they replaced 4 high temperature valve o-rings that wore out and cleaned grinder . Machine was tested and wiped down even the coffee beans part was wiped and looked like new .And all this for $130 . I am planning to have my machine fine tuned ,checked and cleaned every 12-18 months with this local repair service. If you make a lot of coffee like I do over 3000 drinks in 12 months you need to have your machine services like you would have your car serviced . I think this is one of the misunderstanding that many don't realize and terra kaffe should communicate this to buyer -You will need this machine service as internal part will wear out . This is a honest review from a fellow coffee lover . Don't throw your machine away have them serviced, if you don't want to send it to Terra Kaffe find local repair shop that offers this service.

While the machine makes an excellent espresso, the constant maintenance is exhausting. So far, my wife and I have had a rough go with manufacturing-related defects of the product. Our first machine shorted out and wouldn't start. When we called for directions, customer service was pleasant and shipped us a box to return our machine, covered under warranty, to get it repaired. They shipped it back, and about a month later -- the milk frothing system malfunctioned. We contacted them again, and they were again pleasant but informed us that the machine was likely defective and they'd be replacing it for us. We thought that was kind. However, four months later, the replacement machine has now broken for a reason undetermined. Once again, it's being shipped in for warranty-covered repair. While the warranty is nice, the hassle of having to get this thing repaired is not worth it. It takes weeks to get the shipping materials, send it in, get it repaired, then get it shipped back. All together, we've probably had 4 months of down-time on the machine for the year we've had it. Would probably recommend another product that's more reliable, despite the good warranty and nice tech support.

I purchased this machine a few years ago. We have never been able to properly use the already ground feature. I went online and viewed a video on how to use, and all the grinds just end up inside the machine, which is very. hard to clean. When making regular coffee, it never makes a full cup, and usually turns out very weak. We have called customer service for help, and still have not been able to get the machine to work properly. We will be replacing.

I love this machine! I am now so incredibly spoiled with the most amazing coffee each morning. Beware, if you get this machine, you will really dislike cheap coffee after you get used to this greatness. This is my favorite kitchen gadget. I found the customer service to be a 4/5 as they only offer email communication which makes handling technical difficulties hard. Other than that, I absolutely love this product and would buy it again.

Had the coffee machine for about months now. Really great coffee for the price of the machine. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Incredible price for what you get. True push-button espresso machine

I've had my TK-01 for almost two years and honestly don't know how I lived without it. I come from the pod-based machine world, which I liked because of convenience, but the amount of trash I was generating was guilt-inducing. I switched to Terra Kaffe because it promised convenience, and it definitely delivered. I use my TK-01 every day, multiple times a day (maybe too much) and have gotten a few family members and friends to get their own machines. I haven't had many issues, but when I've needed help, their customer service is the best. I'm definitely excited to see what this company does next.

Absolutely love it! Has become a staple in my daily morning routine... and afternoon routine... and sometimes night routine. Love that I can use fresh coffee beans and get the same taste as my local coffee shop
