  • Truly delicious and refreshing! I love this in the summer and 7% is the perfect amount to drink casually without getting too lit. It's a little expensive for what it is which is why we don't buy it as often as other drinks, but I love the taste.

  • similar flavors to traditional n/a versions I've had but has a pretty strong sweetness from the amount of alcohol that I find unpleasant; really wanted to like it and probably would a lot more if it was 3-4% ABV

What is Tepache Sazón?

Tepache Sazón is a premium fermented beverage that celebrates the rich culture and vibrant flavors of Mexico’s Pacific Coast.

In their own words

Tepache Sazón is a premium fermented beverage, with a contemporary interpretation of a centuries-old tradition, that celebrates the rich culture and vibrant flavors of Mexico’s Pacific Coast. Produced in the coastal village of San Pancho, Nayarit, this hand-crafted effervescent beverage is made using a time-honored recipe that incorporates locally hand-harvested pineapples, emphasizing freshness and ripeness. Tepache Sazón is made from the piña miel, or honey pineapple, a hybrid variety valued for its perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, prized throughout the tropical Americas. Embodying the essence of the region, Tepache Sazón offers a refreshing, natural, and truly unique Mexican experience. Tepache Sazón works closely with Memo Topete, whose family has established itself as a top multi-generational pineapple cultivator in the region. Their expertise in planting, tending, and selecting the finest quality fruit to ensure that only the best pineapples make it into each batch. In addition to pineapple, Tepache Sazón uses key ingredients including piloncillo, a raw form of pure cane sugar, that is often referred to as Mexican brown sugar, and canela, Ceylon cinnamon known for its complex, aromatic flavor, that perfectly complements the tangy pineapple flavor.
