Reviews mention

  • Luxurious textures and packaging
  • Gentle, effective rice cleansers
  • Hydrating, glow-boosting moisturizers
  • Silky, pore-blurring primer
  • Occasionally heavy, sticky finishes
  • Fragrance irritates sensitive skin
  • Inconsistent sunscreen elegance
  • Mixed, average visible results

Tatcha earns largely positive reviews as a luxurious, effective skincare line, with standouts like The Dewy Skin Cream, The Water Cream, The Rice Wash/Polish, Camellia Cleansing Oil, and The Silk Canvas primer delivering soft, glowy, smooth skin and strong makeup prep. However, reviewers flag weaknesses: some formulas feel heavy or sticky, fragrance irritates sensitive skin, sunscreens and a few moisturizers underwhelm, and results can be average relative to hype.

  • Tatcha is my top one favorite skincare. Never disappoints me!

  • Since Sephora started carrying Tatcha, I have tried a few products. Some of them were minis. Rarely did I buy the full size due to the price, but I did like them all. Most were meh. Not worth the high cost if you aren't rich, but not a bad choice either. Their indigo and water cream fall into this category, with indigo being the better of the two. Their cleansers are ok, but cleansers generally are even less worthy of a splurge than moisturizers, even though the powder cleansers are fun to use for the novelty alone. To me, the standout product is the silk canvas primer. I have only tried the solid form and not the original liquid. While I don't wear makeup all the time, when I do, this primer is awesome. If you want to try Tatcha, definitely start with the minis that still cost around 20-30 each as the full sizes are closer to $100. I got excited when I saw they offered a "create your own mini set," but it just charges you for the individual prices of the minis and then gives you a free makeup bag. That is an insult to our intelligence as customers and convinced me to lower their score from 4 (because of the primer and the fact that the products are good, just not great) to a 3 to better reflect their high prices/lack of deals.

Tatcha: Offer better prices on minis and sets. If a full size is 80-100, a mini shouldn't be 20-30. It should be cheaper to try. Even offering some sort of rebate system would be helpful. I once bought a set of mini perfume bottles from Sephora favorites. It included a voucher to receive a full size of your favorite scent and the price didn't matter. If Tatcha offered a try us set where you got a voucher for your favorite full size item, I would be more inclined to give a broader range of their products a try.

  • I regularly use their rice cleanser and moisturizer on my sensitive skin and absolutely love it. I also love their night serum it is genuinely the best texture I have ever put on my face.

  • Are they out of business. I’ve been waiting for an order since 12/20

  • Face washes are really gentle but effective on skin and smell really great but are not overbearing. Just very light and calming. I'm super picky, with extremely sensitive skin, and very demanding expectations of any sort skincare ECT that I use.

  • I first experienced tatcha way back in 2018 when I bought the camellia cleansing oil which quickly became a staple for me. I've gone on to try an array of their other products including the water cream, the dewy skin mist and the rice polish. Every single product has been high quality through and through and I have really enjoyed the ingredients.

I love the packaging and I love the products. I will say I wish the portion sizes were bigger, we pay quite a high price and receive very little product.

  • So far I really like the moisturizer - I got it from sephora and have been using it.

The scent is light and I haven't had any breakouts yet with it.

  • I have tested out there sunscreen and it’s really good

I tried there sunscreen and it was really moisturizing but I would recommend the La Roche Posay sunscreen it is amazing

  • Has done wonders for my sensitive, combination skin. Dewy Rice Wash and Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream are always on my restock cart.

  • I find that this brand works well with Asian skin! Pricey but worth it. The best way to try this brand out is with Sephora’s rewards or samples.

  • Okay stop! I LOVED this water based cream it was gifted to me but I fell in love with this brand after. Super light weight with a heck of a lot of moisture. 12/10

  • So I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I used to use Lancome, but I didn't like that they tested on animals, and I wanted something a little safer for my skin. This product does great things for my skin! I have used The Dewy Skin Cream. It worked great for me because my skin was REALLY dry. However, if you have oily skin, I might not recommend this. I have also used the Dewy Serum, which leaves my skin plump and glowing. I have used a lot of their line but my favorite product is The Deep Cleanse. It leaves my skin clean and soooo soft.

No improvements. I love this product!

  • I've been using Tatcha products now for the last few years and have seen a significant improvement in my skin. The recent changes to the packaging have been a huge improvement to the brand.

Sometimes the products meant for oily skin are still too oily for me.
