Target earns largely positive reviews as a stylish, one‑stop shop that delivers an enjoyable in‑store experience, strong private labels, and convenient Drive Up/pickup, but reviews also flag inconsistent stock, rising prices, and mixed product durability. Reviewers praise clean, well‑organized stores, fun seasonal decor, beauty selection, and useful Target Circle promos, while citing weaker online experience, long self‑checkout lines, and concerns around clothing quality, DEI reversals, and occasional overpriced groceries.

  • Target has gone downhill. The prices are horrible, and they try to get over on their customers. It’s always been overrated to me. Not to mention they aren’t an inclusive store that supports diversity. I have been using Costcos for the last month. I feel welcomed there and Costcos has great products and prices!

  • Target is a great place to shop. Great variety, great prices, love the Target circle for great deals too. Love that they offer gift cards if you spend a certain amount.

  • Best store EVER!!

  • I always enjoy shopping at target. I go at least once a week. A very wide variety of products is available and it never looks like a disaster hit like some stores.

  • I've got a routine where I primarily shop at Target because I can get 5% off with the Red Card. Plus, they often have fantastic limited-edition collab items with various brands, and I really enjoy that too.

  • Love this place the clothes are amazing, the dog door and toys are not expensive and fun

  • I, too, used to be addicted to Target. As the years have passed, though, they seem to have become a bastion of, not just rampant consumerism, but slavish allegiance to national brands (and Target's own brands, of course, which are where the real savings are, no matter how dubious the quality of the product). I still peruse the aisles of Tarjay, but now I do so with a jaundiced eye, and far less frequently than before. Which ceramics might have dangerous lead levels? Why are there only two brands of marshmallows? Was slave labor employed for these clothes? If Target knows, they're not telling, and I am increasingly interested in taking my business to places where I don't need to ask those questions.

  • have literalyy everything!

  • Target is one of my favorite stores, it has everything I need!

  • Obviously the best place to shop for everyday needs or last minute items. What's not to love about Target?

  • This is my favorite "big box" store to go to. They are open and welcoming to all people and that is what I love about Target! I never have issues with returns when things do not fit.

  • I really enjoy going to target it has a good variety of everything. I always end up buying something cool and unexpected has a nice shopping vibe

  • I love going and browsing at Target. My only issue is that their pricing is not always the best when comparing to other stores. I do like buying my grandchildren's clothing and home goods there, and I love when they have sales on seasonal items. I've never had any issues returning items that did not work or were the wrong size.

  • Target has everything and is very reliable. Their house brands are good quality and a good value.

  • The only store I get excited to venture around! No retail experience can compete. The staff, the selection, and the overall experience is immaculate.

  • I have a Target Red Card and go pretty often, but shopping there is not as nice as it used to be. I never used to worry about out of stock items, but lately something I'm looking for is out of stock on every trip. The app is amazing though. It's so great for finding things in the store. I don't even look for an employee anymore

  • I mean… are there people who DON’T like Target? The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that I knew a few people who worked there and weren’t treated well by management. Seems to be a corporate trend.
