Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for wearable, no–white-cast SPF formulas that double as makeup primers—Unseen Sunscreen and Glow Screen frequently impress for smooth, lightweight application and everyday protection—yet some reviewers report greasiness, pilling, breakouts, or separation and question efficacy versus cheaper dupes. Reviews highlight inclusive, matte-to-glowy finishes, easy reapplication formats (sprays, sticks, powders), and family-friendly PLAY, while noting product-inherent drawbacks like oily feel, chemical scent or eye sting, heavy shine from Glow products, limited shade range in tints, and occasional packaging clogs or leaks.

I'm an esthetician, and this is my favorite sunscreen! I recommend it to all skin types and tones because the unseen truly doesn't leave a cast on darker skin tones.

I bought supergoop’a dry oil when a Sephora employee told me that it is fabulous with bringing out the vibrancy of your tattoos, and she was absolutely spot on! It gives you this nice glow to your skin, that looks soft and golden. It is not oily in any way that annoys me. I am very sensitive to products sitting on my skin and feeling heavy as an autistic woman, but this is undetectable. It brightens my look, and the best part… saves me from the suns harmful rays! I’ve had it well over a year and use it often and it isn’t even halfway gone yet. I couldn’t recommend them enough. 1000/10

I have used supergoop for years and I love all of their products. The glow screen is my go to!

I will only use this sunscreen on my face! I use Play as my day-to-day sunscreen and have never broken out or had issues with it stinging my eyes (I wear contacts, too!).

I love sunscreens and adding to my daily routine. Supergoop sunscreens are good. They are lightweight, no white cast, light feeling on skin, no greasy, no itchy eyes.

This brand has the best suncare products to accommodate any skin type! I have been absolutely loving the unseen sunscreen SPF 40 as both a primer underneath makeup & an SPF just to wear on its own. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and really does protect!

I've used the unseen sunscreen for a couple of years now. While I do like how it leaves no whitecast, it does feel a little greasy on my skin and feels like it's also taking some hydration out of my skin. The packaging is very convenient and will fit into a purse to help reapply! I do think it's a few dollars too expensive.

I love the thin consistency of this sunscreen because you cannot tell you are wearing it— it makes it look like your skin but better. It blends beautifully under makeup and does not pill

I've been using the Play Everyday Lotion for a little over 2 years and really like the product. It doesn't make my skin break out when applied to my body or face and the product itself goes on light and not sticky. I typically buy the larger size because I like the container it comes it and it feel like the best value. That said, I will say that it is on the pricey side, but I otherwise really like it.

Non greasy and I love the smell. I only wish I could buy a bigger bottle

It's very lightweight but maybe it was the one I purchased (the Play one) but it leaves a very oily feeling on the face. I have to use a powder on top to counter this.

their products are a little pricy but overall completely worth it!!

Glow screen: separates after a month or so Unseen sunscreen: nice for people who prefer a silicone-y texture, but that’s not my thing! SPF setting powder: nice and mattifying, good for use on the scalp as well (sorta doubles as SPF dry shampoo on your part), but the packaging / the brush itself doesn’t lend itself to the easiest application. Would prefer a compact.

I read about the Glow Screen last week in a Buzzfeed beauty listicle and I immediately wanted to check it out. I have combination skin and try to let my skin breathe as much as possible (ie, I prefer not to use foundation.) I tried the Glow Screen and I really like it. This is for anyone who wants more of a glowing, dewy look but also is taking their skincare seriously (SPF 40!) It honestly makes me more excited to do my skin routine every morning; give it a try!

The Supergoop Play is a staple in our home. It goes on easy- doesn't leave a film. It works really well. I wish it had a better rating on Yuka- but it's effective without being too thick and that's hard to find.

I wear this daily and it doesn’t clog my pores or create a white cast. It lasts a long time. It is spendy, but I will pay the upcharge for a product that protects my face from sun damage.

This sunscreen is a game-changer! Supergoop Sun Shine is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and protected. The subtle shine gives my face a healthy glow, and the SPF 50 provides excellent protection. Perfect for daily use, and I love that it's reef-safe too! Highly recommend for a worry-free, sun-kissed glow.
