Reviews mention

  • Lightweight, invisible application
  • Makeup-friendly primer texture
  • No white cast versatility
  • Innovative, varied formats
  • Occasional oily residue feel
  • Inconsistent formula stability
  • Potential eye sting sensation
  • Silicone-heavy primer texture

Supergoop! earns largely positive reviews for face and body SPF that feels lightweight, leaves no white cast, and layers well under makeup—standouts include Unseen Sunscreen, Glow Screen, PLAY lotion, and Glow Stick. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or silicone-heavy, can pill or sting eyes, trigger breakouts, separate in the tube, have unpleasant taste/scent (lip products), and several users question ingredient choices and overall efficacy; many find it pricey.

  • Sunscreen is so important, so I love that they are creating a ton of innovative products that make it easier to make sure we are protected every day! The stick goes on super well over makeup and the glowscreen looks gorgeous.

    Feedback

Some of the protection is a little spotty, but generally it's great!

  • As an esthetician, I am a sunscreen addict. love their PLAY SPF 50 lotion. It is a little greasy at first but once it absorbs into your skin it’s totally fine and unnoticeable. I was in Mexico for 7 days and didn’t get a single new freckle or sunburn because I was reapplying PLAY so religiously! Love this stuff

    Feedback

    None really!

  • Amazing products that made me enjoy wearing sunscreen daily. I recommend Unseen Sunscreen for anyone new to the brand - it has a lightweight, non-greasy texture that feels matte like a primer, and is totally different from normal sunscreen. My other regular purchase is Every Single Face (serum-like texture that keeps other skincare from pilling, but is still fast-drying and non-greasy).

    Feedback

Not a criticism, but best-fit product will depend on your climate and other skincare routines. Glow Oils are pretty thick / high shine - I live in Texas and they were too heavy, but probably better in cold climates. I also found MatteScreen wasn't worth it and made my other skincare products pill.

  • Everything I've tried from Supergoop! has been of high quality and a little goes a long way, so I've been able to justify the price based on that alone.

    Feedback

    Refillable or recyclable options.

  • The updated Supergoop formula is amazing. Spreads on smooth with no white cast or sickly smell (which I feel like is a major downfall of a lot of more natural/luxury sunscreens.) Feels clean on the skin. Amazing for everyday wear and for a full day at the beach.

The Glow Stick fell short for me. Too greasy!

  • I love this because it works as a sunscreen as well as a great primer for my foundation. I love that there’s different variations.

  • I've tried both the Glowscreen, and the Unseen sunscreen. Glowscreen doubles as highlighter, and is an illuminating base. Unseen works as primer, too, with its silicone base. Unseen sometimes pills, but it's not bad at all. There is NO white cast whatsoever. Slightly drying, so moisturize well.

I saw a UV patch test not fit pass for the Unseen Sunscreen, so please check up on how effective the SPF is.

  • I love their sunscreens. They work really well under makeup and I have never had issues with sunburns (which I get easily) while using their products. Glowscreen sunscreen works really well as a primer for makeup and makes the skin look very glowy.

    Feedback

I recently saw a video of someone testing out their sunscreen with a uv sticker and it did not protect the skin. My dermatologist also warned me to use a different sunscreen or just layer them if I really wanted to use it (which I have done).

  • Used an entire can in 2 days. Still got burnt. Doesn’t work.

    Feedback

    Could help prevent sunburn.

  • LOVE their unseen sunscreen. I use it everyday with my daily skin care routine. I like that it can be used under my foundation and not feel super oily

  • Sunscreen is a little oily for me, but I still prefer it to traditional sunscreen.

  • Great products that are made of clean ingredients!

    Feedback

Costs is a negative but in general the products are worth the investment!

  • This review is for the Supergoop Glowscreen and Supergoop Glowscreen only! It makes your face look like a luminous goddess while preventing brown spots from forming. I’m not a fan of the new tinted version as it doesn’t have that shimmer and just a ruddy color. The other plus is you won’t need makeup or color corrector over so it’s easy to re-apply midday to avoid pilling.

  • Fun aesthetic, love the products and have continued to repurchase

    Feedback

Glow screen and Unseen sunscreen are my favorite and everyone needs at least one of them in their collection

  • LOVE their glowscreen. I'm not sure how effective it is as sunscreen, but it works better as makeup than my actual makeup. It's become a part of my daily routine. I balked at the price tag but it lasts a long time and is worth it!

  • I have the unseen sunscreen and it feels so nice.

    Feedback

Do they have hand cream? They should. I need spf hand cream.

  • I have tried the SPF50 body mousse, SPF50 everyday lotion, mineral spray, and mineral sheerscreen. The mineral sheerscreen is the best mineral facial sunscreen that I've tried. It's not as difficult to rub in as other mineral SPFs. I feel like Supergoop is pretty transparent with their ingredients and testing, so I trust the brand a bit more than other SPFs I can get at the drug store.

    Feedback

I think the everyday lotion is pretty sticky and shiny, so it's not my preferred body SPF. I'm a repeat purchaser of the mineral sheerscreen, but it's really hard to get off my skin. I find that after a few days it can start to look like I have dry, flaky skin, but it's really just the buildup of mineral sunscreen over the days even though I use a two-step oil cleansing routine.

  • I got the Supergoop Play and the Unseen Sunscreen recently, after trying a sample of the Play. I LOVE the Play one so much - its so soft, so non-greasy feeling and it doesnt harm my acne prone face even, its perfect. The Unseen Sunscreen reminds me a little of vaseline, but I use it as a primer which is really nice!

    Feedback

Id make the Unseen Sunscreen texture different, and make these wearable / cleaner for the environment to wear at the beach.
