As I awkwardly held it, she repositioned my grip with a wink: "Knives are not made for women. Work harder." That moment sparked something in me. I practiced relentlessly on bags of onions, marking my knife with pink tape. This tool wasn't just equipment; it became an extension of myself—maintained like precious jewelry, cherished like a favorite garment. It transformed cooking into something fluid and beautiful. After graduation, I tested countless knives but found none with the same connection. So I created the Cardinal, named for my grandfather, founded on a simple promise: we will keep your tool sharp.
