  • SKROSS is hands down my go-to travel adapter brand. I own a few of their products, but I'm specifically reviewing the World Travel Adaptor with 2 USB A ports. I purchased it back in 2016 for a 2 month backpacking trip and it has been a trusty companion ever since. Its versatility is unmatched—whether in the U.S., Australia, Europe, or anywhere else I’ve visited, this adaptor has never let me down. The two USB ports are an incredibly handy feature, especially when outlets are limited and multiple devices need charging. I've lost count of the number of hotel or B&B rooms that only have one outlet. Although with the world moving towards USB-C, the USB-A ports feel a bit dated now, but they’ve served me well for many years. The adaptor itself is solidly built, and its durability has impressed me; it has lasted through years of travel without issue. There are a few minor downsides. The built-in fuse, while a safety feature, has sometimes come unscrewed and fallen out, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, I did have the fuse blow out once, which made troubleshooting and replacing it a bit of a hassle. Overall, I’d definitely choose SKROSS again when it’s time for an upgrade. I’ll be looking for a model that includes at least two USB-C ports, but this trusty adaptor has set a high bar for reliability and performance.
