Simulate earns largely positive reviews for plant-based “Nuggs” that convincingly mimic fast‑food chicken nuggets—especially the Spicy variety—delivering crisp breading, satisfying texture, and strong crowd‑pleasing appeal across vegans and omnivores. Reviews also flag weaknesses: occasional dryness or blandness in the original flavor, inconsistent interior texture (spongy or too soft), highly processed ingredients, and reliance on air‑frying for best results, making it a great nostalgic fix but not universally loved.

Not the best testing plant based nuggets I've tried. But they're do-able.
Feedback
It doesn't taste like chicken as much as other plant based brands.

They’re okay, the texture is bit dry they don’t have much flavor to them. It would be good in a pinch

I think these generally are a good substitute for chicken nuggets but it wasn't exactly the same moisture + umami that I was looking for
Feedback
more moisture! maybe less baking? I wanted to absolutely love but just didn't

That are really good, their not tough like some of the vegan chicken nuggets.
Feedback
I think the breading need to be more thicker

In terms of fake meat nuggets, they're on the better side. The flavor is good. The texture is still a little bit off though. If you bake them, they're definitely better than microwaved
Feedback
The texture is just a little off. It's in the uncanny valley of not quite meat.

I really enjoy the taste and texture of these nuggs. I've been vegetarian for a while and have tried a lot of the meat alternatives. This one is up high in the ranks for me. It resembles a nugget from McDonalds or Wendys in its size, taste, and texture. It isn't super crispy like a chicken finger, but I appreciate that since it mimics a true chicken nugget. I also love that they offer a spicy option. I'm really excited to try their chicken strips that just came out. I also adore the packaging and their branding overall. I bought these nuggs a few times at Costco, and they had a "find the golden nugget" offer. They hid golden nuggets in a few lucky boxes and offered a prize for whoever found one. I thought that was really fun!

The ingredients list seems highly processed to me. I know that's pretty standard for the plant-based "meat" these days, but I'd love to see some changes there.

We went vegetarian for a month and this was my boyfriend’s go to. First, we love love love good branding when we see it. Second, they totally lived up to the hype. We ordered online because there are far more options than in stores. Ps. Try the spicy nugs, they are my fav.
Feedback
Always cook them a little longer than recommended for some extra crisp.

After trying several different brands (Quorn, impossible, trader Joe's, gardein), I think these are my favorite. The coating and seasoning is so good and there isn't the feeling that you are not eating meat. Also does not take too long to get really crispy.
Feedback
I agree that the packaging could be opened and closed better. The design is cool though.

My vegetarian sister bought these for us when we were all together during COVID and I was surprised with how much they tasted like real chicken. They taste like a better seasoned version of McDonald's nuggets, and frankly taste better than any of the "healthy" chicken nugget brands I have tried!

Oof, these are dangerous! Very similar texture and taste to most chicken nuggets I've had, and hard to even tell they're plant-based! I've been vegan/plant-based for years now but this is exactly how I remember chicken nuggets and really satisfies the craving. I've tried the Spicy version, it wasn't incredibly hot or anything, and had some spices that added flavour. The branding is very cool, and really sets them apart from your standard plant-based nuggets in the freezer section.
Feedback
They are a bit expensive considering how many nuggets are included. My partner and I shared a box and it was definitely a snack-sized portion.
