Reviews mention

  • Natural, vegan ingredient list
  • Elegant, minimalist packaging design
  • Creative, distinctive flavor lineup
  • Included disposable wrapping papers
  • Short-lived flavor longevity
  • Odd, sticky chewing texture
  • Small, unsatisfying pellet size
  • Limited breath-freshening efficacy

Simply Gum earns polarized reviews: the brand delights fans with natural, vegan ingredients, eco-minded packaging, and inventive flavors like Ginger, Spearmint, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, and Maple, yet it frustrates many who find the flavor fleeting and the chew problematic. Reviews praise the clean formulation and included disposal papers, but cite tiny pieces, odd or sticky texture that can disintegrate or harden, and minimal breath-freshening power as persistent drawbacks.

  • The gum was ok. The ginger gum was stronger than I expected and I wasn't a big fan of the texture. It only lasted what felt like a few chews before it seems to fall apart. If you're looking for something to chew for longer periods of time (10+ minutes) I wouldn't advise using Simply Gum.

    Texture

  • I bought their spearmint and ginger gums in the past, and I thought that they lacked flavor and substance. The texture is dry and definitely feels "natural."

    Feedback

I think that their formula could be improved. I would like them more if they improved their flavor profile, as well as their texture.

  • No thank you. Got a sample of these and immediately tossed after I tried it. Realllllllly weird consistency that I didn’t enjoy having in my mouth.

  • I really love this gum bc it's super hard and it actually really helps me with my TMJ and working those muscles. I was recommended this gum by a holistic ENT to work on facial structure.

    Feedback

I wish the flavors lasted longer and perhaps were a bit more potent.

  • I’ve had the ginger and the mint flavors. Pretty healthy and good but not long lasting.

    Feedback

If there is a way to make take last longer would be great. It gets a little hard to chew after taste is fine.

  • Simply Gum (Spearmint example) NOTE: this is unquestionably the best gum I have ever chewed!!!!! It’s exquisite along with lasting flavour and the super fun packaging with fine- wrapping sheets! I’m serious :) Can’t wait to find it in Canada and stock up :)

  • Cardboard would have a better chew and more flavor to it... Seriously. I tried the spearmint and it's downright disgusting!!!! I don't even taste the spearmint, and I was chewing the recommended two pieces! It stuck to every tooth in my head. Don't waste your money on this garbage. After this one, I'm afraid to try other flavors. And the whole, "they come with papers" thing isn't really innovative. Packs of gum have come with foil or paper wrappers (which are meant to be kept for later gum disposal) for decades!

  • Very tasty but gets too soft, too quickly.

  • Really disappointing gum - Cleanse, at least. Looks enticing from the packaging, but from the very first bite it seriously lacks flavour and what little there is doesn't last for long, 2 or 3 minutes if you're lucky. The post-chew wraps it comes with are a neat idea, but like the gum itself they fall short and are very thin and tear easily.

  • It’s okay. There are better guns out there.

    Feedback

Flavor should last longer along with the gum texture.

  • I was in the checkout line and saw this gum. The packaging looked nice and the concept sounded interesting. Decided to get it and try it with my boyfriend. It's okay for the first 30 seconds and then I spit it out haha.

    Feedback

I know this is supposed to be a natural gum, and honestly it is what it is. I think the flavors are okay too. It just doesn't last as long as other gums, and the texture gets tiring after a little bit.

  • Haven't tried their gum, but have had their mint mints for years!

    Feedback

The mints are good! Not too strong, but could maybe use a little less sweetener. Might trigger migraines in people.

  • No flavor, way too hard.

    Feedback

Added wrappers are unnecessary and wasteful.

  • The concept and flavors were really good but unfortunately they did not last long.

    Feedback

    Perhaps add more/longer lasting flavor?

  • Flavor and texture is worse than Big Gum. If you think Big Gum loses flavor fast, wait until you try this. You almost need to pop two or two three pieces to get a proper taste. Price is also pretty high. I dig the mission and simple ingredients though.

    Feedback

Flavor and texture are noticeably inferior to major gum brands.

  • I love chewing gum, and have since I was little. However, most gums are made with artificial ingredients, colors, and sugars. Simply Gum differs by straying from the path of most gums and actually providing well-sourced, high quality ingredients for some of the best chewing gum I've had. With a natural chicle base, I don't have any crazy chemicals while chewing gum, and I can appreciate this treat guilt free. I swear by Simply Gum!

    Feedback

    More availability and more affordable

  • Good concept but after a few minutes, I spit it out due to lack of flavor and the tough consistency.

  • The packaging is appealing but not very sturdy

    Feedback

    The packaging could use reinforcements

  • My incentive for buying was to find an alternative to chewing gum that is mostly just a bit of plastic that doesn't decompost. The "simply gum" was higher priced but I was willing to pay more for a less ecological footprint. Unfortunately the product didn't hold up... after a few chews the taste was nearly to completely gone and the expensive piece of chewing gum went into the dustbin.

Find a way to make the taste last longer. The product should match the wonderful packaging und design and "work" as a chewing gum.
