I love the style and aesthetics of Sanqvist's backpacks, but my experience of owning one wasn't so great. I bought a Sandqvist Stig as my daily work backpack. I cycle to work and tend to put everything in my bag. Despite loving how the backpack looked, it didn't take long before I started thinking about replacing it with something more durable and practical.
Feedback
The Stig was always annoying to close with fiddly straps. Over time the leather straps start to curl up and become misshapen. The back straps also use a kind of flimsy adjustment clip - kind of like a belt. Anyway, there were multiple times this came undone and I almost dropped my backpack! Finally, the backpack isn't the most practical. Despite being reasonably sized, it wasn't that practical for carrying my laptop, and very easily filled up. This backpack is far more about looks than functionality. That's okay, it's just not ideal for my daily commute.

Love my roll top backpack, nice vibrant colour and very roomy. My only grip is the fastener of the rolltop does not allow for it to be rolled tight, it’s a bit too long to allow for that. But that’s a minor point, it’s a great, sturdy bag.
