I love my RYE bed! It looks incredible clean and minimal and fits my space really well. I genuinely struggled so much to find a bed with a simple design that fitted my needs. For me it was a requirement to have a bed with a built in head board and also I wanted a wooden bed as wood is a warmer material and softens movement unlike metal. The bed is really strong, has zero flex or movement and generally seems like it's really high quality. I have no doubt that I'll be sleeping soundly in my RYE bed for years to come. I was also very impressed at the RYE customer service - Oliver was on hand at every single step to help out and offer advice. Including at 7pm when we were building the bed and needed some guidance. The two things that I think could be improved on were firstly the delivery and secondly access to the instructions for building the bed. The delivery driver point blank refused to help me load the bed into our elevator, or even inside the entrance of our apartment building. He was rude and left me with a pallet of boxes. He even refused to take the pallet, leaving me with a huge pallet I had to figure out how to dispose of. None of this would have normally been much of an issue, but I'd recently had surgery so I wasn't able to lift heavy items. None of this is RYE's fault, but after looking at their website I did see that they also offers an option to deliver inside your apartment - I wish I'd known and really think this should be the only delivery option! Building the bed was relatively straightforward. The hardest bit was finding the instructions as RYE ships its beds in multiple (like 6+) boxes. This meant I had no idea where to find the instructions and didn't want to open every box. This could be fixed by including the instructions on their website, or emailing them ahead to new customers. We paired the bed frame with an Emma mattress, HAY Duo bedding and a Muuto throw. Overall I couldn't be happier with my new bed!
