  • Ruti was targeting me on social media for their On the Loose Work Pants - leaning into that barrel pant look that somehow still looked really flattering, but what really sold me was they offered petite sizes! I am thrilled that as a 5'0 girly, I can still wear these pants. Having to alter them would have missed the point of having the shape, which I didn't have to do. They are comfy, not wrinkly, and light so perfect for travel or comfy work pants. I immediately went ahead and ordered the wide-ish pants and same thing that it's petite-friendly, comfortable and nicer than my usual jogger and leggings. I liked their stuff isn't your typical run of the mill designs and will definitely be looking to buy more! Only downside are the pants are not dryer friendly.

  • My sister introduced me to this brand last year, when I chose their Go-To Skirt as a holiday gift. I wear the skirt often, and I always feel a little bit special when I do--it's unusual, it's comfortable, and it's a step up in style--but not in comfort--from athleisure wear. Yes, it's pricey, but it's so worth it for a once-in-a-while splurge. Their best-known styles are likely the Go-To Skirt and the On-The-Loose Work Pants. Pros: Well-made, nice material, very friendly and helpful customer service (at least at all the brick-and-mortar San Francisco stores), luxe Cons: Price (although they do have sales quite often); sometimes they are out of specific styles or colors; website has a lot of styles and is a bit hard to navigate; they don't post customer reviews
