Hi, my name is Joline Rivera, I'm the solo founder of Rbel Bee Sweets. 

In 2014 I learned I had insulin resistance and was on my way to Type 2 diabetes like many in my large Hispanic family. My doctor made it clear to me I had to cut out refined or processed sugar. If I wanted sweets I could have honey—I learned that honey is a functional food, it's anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial. This is when I learned that food is medicine. When I replaced my refined sugar and ate more functional foods like honey, I felt so much better and reversed my insulin resistance.

But, I love candy—I just needed it to do more for me than satisfy a sweet craving, the munchies, or just fill me up.

Rbel Bee Sweets was born. HONEY IS BETTER THAN SUGAR—it's that simple. 

Rbel Bee Honey gummies TASTE INCREDIBLE—they're made with whole functional foods. We don't have to cover up or inject "flavors" or coloring because we're working with real food.  

Honey is our dominant ingredient along with other functional foods like pomegranate, saffron, vanilla, tart cherry, and blue oyster mushrooms. We also have CBD versions—because hemp is a functional food!

Hi Amy...thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. As the founder it means so much to me to get this feedback. We are focused on providing our customers with the highest possible quality of products. Our allulose is all-natural and comes from fruits such as raisins, figs, kiwis and jack fruit. Our allulose is also certified non-GMO and kosher.  The dominant ingredient in our gummies is HONEY and each gummy as 2x more honey than allulose. You also don't have to worry about it being a sugar alcohol like the Haribo gummies you mentioned, it won't cause digestive issue. 

I'm glad you like the blue oyster mushrooms. As a person who suffers from insulin resistance when I have my sweets I just need them to do more for me than satisfy my sweet craving and I thought if I needed it maybe others would too. The mushrooms are organic, dried and shredded and added to our gummies. They're have potassium, iron, fiber, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, vitamin D2 and selenium. They also contain amino acids that help promote brain health (And boy! Some days I need it.) 😂

Thank you for writing this review. I see you and I love the honest feedback. We created these so that HONEY is the dominant ingredient and still making slight tweaks with every batch. Creating our gummy that has just the right amount of chewy-ness but doesn't stick to your teeth and also not too sticky...is fun and tricky! 😂 I can't tell you how many gummies of trialed and tasted its obscene. But I'll never stop until their perfect. So thank you for your feedback, it's very appreciated.

Nothing is better than real food—we don't use "flavors" we use whole foods like vanilla, saffron, mushrooms, beet powder...I'm really glad you like them.

As more and more people learn that honey is better for them than sugar and artificial sweeteners, this will be a hands-down favorite.

Finally a candy that tastes great and I can enjoy without feeling guilty. These gummies had me hooked with the incredible flavors and being sweetened with honey instead of sugar, was the cherry on top. 

My first experience was that both flavors are so good, it was hard to choose!

I've never been a huge gummy eater but these have become my number one favorite treat. The taste blew me away. You can taste REAL fruit. And I love the texture and feel. These don't get stuck in your teeth like other gummies. I crave them and I don't have to feel bad about indulging because they're good for you! They're also a great fruit snack alternative for kids, which I love.

The flavors are spot on and the texture is just the right chew. They're fruity and sweet. Best of all there is NO aftertaste. They taste natural. When you polish off the bag, you don't feel bad!

I've tried just about every gummy, which is what happens when you have kids, and while they're OK, none are actually healthy and the kind you'd crave. These gummies, however, are in a different league. They've got ingredients that are actually good for you and that means you can feel good about giving a kid this candy as a treat as well as yourself.

These are on the slimy side of gummies, like a wet gummy bear as opposed to a dry swedish fish. Not a terrible thing but could be a bit off putting.

I struggle to eat well and consume a good amount of vitamins but there’s have helped me a lot. They taste so good and they’ve got ingredients that are actually good for you. I’ve noticed that my mood has boosted ever since taking theses

Amazing taste!! I could totally see myself using these as energy chews rather than a candy. I love the mission and will be buying more.

In both of my orders theres been a handwritten thank you note from the founder which I thought was a sweet touch. 

These are really delicious, and I love that they are gelatin-free. At only 80 calories per bag, they've been awesome for me as a sweet-tooth trying to improve my eating habits. I can snack on a bag all day, and feel good about my choice.

 The large amount of allulose per bag is interesting. I looked into allulose prior to purchasing it as I'm wary of artificial sweeteners and sugar substitutes. I found out that allulose, while as the package states is found (in very small amounts) in raisins and figs, is usually lab-created as a fructose derivative as opposed to being harvested from natural sources. It doesn't taste artificial to me and supposedly it's not absorbed by the body (which does make me wonder if too much would cause a similar effect to the notorious sugar-free Haribo?). 

I think the inclusion of Blue Oyster Mushroom is interesting. It's really starting to feel like every new brand chucks some mushrooms in just because it's the hype thing of the 2020's, but it's hard to complain when the included mushroom isn't an "adaptogen".  I could do without it, but it doesn't bother me that it's included.
