We were in need of a new outdoors mat that could handle the rain from the Pacific Northwest. The rain had "drowned" our mat to the point it was shredded. I found this Outlier mat from Porte and Hall and it does a good job of not retaining any water but also has "teeth" that can help scrape off any dirt that could be easily tracked into the house by our dog. In addition, it looks great! Very pleased with our purchase.

**UPDATE TO 1ST REVIEW SHOWN BELOW** For the price, this indoor mat should NOT run color in my opinion. Upon leaving wet boots to dry overnight on the door mat, there is a big circle of discoloration. This mat was extremely overpriced for unfinished edges and not being colorfast. This cannot be overlooked and therefore I no longer recommend. (see second pic with boots) That being said, the company has excellent customer service and issued me a full refund when I reached out about this. FIRST REVIEW: I love that the mat is super thin so that my door doesn't get caught on it. I also love that it's absorbent while still very thin. And finally, I love that it has an anti-slip backing so it stays in place. Since getting the rug, I have not once had to reposition it – even with my crazy pets peeling out on it while playing. The things that I don't love: 1) it took a LONG time for the Helix color to come back in stock 2) I wish there were more size variations. I got the Doormat size (2'3" x 3'). There are only 2 additional sizes, and they are both runners. I wish there was a slightly larger non-runner size. 3) they're pretty pricey! Almost $70 for a doormat? Questionable / remains to be seen: will the edges NOT fray like they claim? I don't know... That all said, I'm still quite happy with it.
