Petite Loom is a childrenswear label for ages 1 to 10, designed in the Chicago area and inspired by European heritage design. The collection includes hand-smocked dresses, Peter Pan collars, braced shorts, tweed coats and Fair Isle knits, made to be worn hard and handed down. Classic pieces come in sizes 1Y to 5Y, and our knits in 1Y to 10Y. Founder Sameen Rizvi started the label for her son. She searched for clothes that looked the way childhood feels, and found that fast fashion rarely lasted a season, while the heirloom pieces she loved were too stiff for a real childhood. So she made what she couldn't find: clothing with real craft in it, that a child can actually live in. Every order arrives in a hand-illustrated keepsake box with The Petite Chronicles, an illustrated storybook written by Sameen. Each season is a new chapter.
