Parea is creating culture through books, community, and storytelling. We publish books so yes, we are a publishing house, but we think of ourselves as a connector of people and ideas. We find authors who have a fresh take on a relevant and important topic, we pair them with highly skilled and complementary illustrators to bring the books to life visually, we bring readers into the editing process to help us land on a manuscript that we feel confident will create the cultural and behavioral shift we’re looking for, and we sell directly to readers through our site.
