Perfect for Packing Both Warm Food and Fresh Fruit I’ve been using the OmieBox UP for my son’s school lunches, and I really love being able to pack him a warm meal while still keeping his fruit cool and fresh. The ice pack compartment is such a great feature because I don’t have to choose between sending warm food or cold sides. The portion size is just right for him, and the thermos does a great job of keeping his food warm until lunchtime. My son also seems comfortable using it on his own, which is really important to me. There are a few things I wish were different. The lunchbox is heavier than I expected, especially once it’s fully packed. I also wish there were a little less plastic used in the design. It’s something I think about when it comes to food containers, especially for my child. Cleaning is probably my least favorite part. I don’t use a dishwasher, so washing all the different pieces by hand every day can be a little tedious. 😅 That being said, I’m still really happy with it overall. As a mom, I love knowing that I can send my son to school with a warm meal and fresh, cool fruit in the same lunchbox. The convenience and functionality make it worth it for us.
