Reviews mention

  • Convincing nostalgic flavors
  • Lower sugar formulation
  • Gut‑friendly prebiotic blend
  • Attractive, nostalgic branding
  • Occasional stevia aftertaste
  • Inconsistent flavor execution
  • Sometimes low carbonation
  • Potential bloating for some

OLIPOP earns mostly positive reviews for delivering a convincing, lower‑sugar soda experience with gut‑friendly prebiotics and 9g fiber per can; many say it curbs soda cravings and specific flavors like Vintage Cola, Classic Root Beer, Strawberry Vanilla, Classic Grape, Ginger Lemon, Orange Squeeze, and Cream Soda stand out. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some flavors taste overly sweet or artificial with stevia aftertaste, carbonation can feel flat, effects on digestion vary (from helpful regularity to bloating), and flavor hit‑or‑miss consistency means not every “soda‑dupe” lands.

  • I am OBSESSED with Olipop! They are a nice sweet treat that you can feel good about putting into your body. The Strawberry Vanilla is my favorite :)

    Feedback

There's limited distribution and it's hard to find online, that's my only negative feedback.

  • I have tried OLIPOP on a few separate occasions. I love the Classic Root Beer flavor as it has that rooter taste, but obviously isn't as sugary or heavy feeling as real soda. The Orange Squeeze flavor is also a favorite, very fresh and reminiscent of a classic orange soda. However, the Strawberry Vanilla was not at all what I was expecting and was not refreshing in any sense of the word. The marketing and packaging is so cute. I never felt a need for a prebiotic soda but they drew me in and I really do enjoy them!

I think sticking to the colas and the non-vanilla fruit flavors will be your best bet, the flavors mixed with vanilla need some development.

  • I tried the orange and ginger lemon flavors. Absolutely in love with the lemon, not so much the orange. It is refreshing and the the ingredients are pretty clean.

    Feedback

I miss some other fruity flavors.

  • I liked the fruit punch flavor ok as well as the orange soda; I didn’t notice any gut changes (positive or negative) but I like that it’s a little healthier

  • We got some few flavors (orange squeeze, strawberry vanilla and vintage cola) at Whole Foods just to give it a try and it was a god overall experience, i dont think we were like OMG lets get more because they are pretty pricey but we did love the idea of a heathier soda option that still tasted good.

Too expensive to be refilling every week or 2

  • Tried a few different flavors, most of the fruit ones are quite good, and the Dr. Goodwin is probably my favorite. I'm a sucker for good packaging, and I like the illustrations quite a bit. I can see why some might not like the probiotic "tang/funk" but it's refreshing!

  • My fave treat drink when I want something other than water. Flavors were hit or miss for me - my go-tos are Root Beer, Orange, Grape and Tropical Punch which give a nod to the soda versions without being exactly like soda. The vintage cola flavor was a no for me - it wasn't similar to a coke and it wasn't my taste either. But a huge fan in general!

  • I tried the Lemon Ginger OLIPOP and it was great.

Excellent branding, product very similar to what’s expected in the category

  • When I first saw the package for these new drinks, I was incredibly eager to test them. I chose the classic cola flavor, with the orange squeeze. Even after attempting to combine both with other items I could not appreciate, I did not like the taste or the aftertaste in either.

I think they should have stuck to either a soda or sparkling water there is too much in between it tastes off to me but I think it's something that won't hurt to give a try.

Nice packaging and love the fact that it catered for vegan too.

  • This soda has a unique taste and texture. It isn't like you can really taste the fiber, but you can tell it is there. I have tried the cola, strawberry, root beer, grape, and orange. I may have tried the cherry too. I do not like the root beer. The flavor is off and nothing like A&E, Mug, Barqs, IBC, etc. I wasn't crazy about the strawberry. I don't remember if I liked the orange or not, but I think I did. However, the grape and especially the cola are really good. Definitely worth trying if you want a healthier soda option and/or some fiber.

I do wish Olipop would improve the flavor of the root beer. I also wish they'd offer a strong ginger beer, cream sodas, and other unique flavors. But I am happy with the cola flavor.

  • I have only tried the classic root beer flavor. It has a great initial test but the after test throws me off. I am open to trying other flavors.

Be open to try different flavors, you have to find the one you enjoy.

  • OLIPOP is a great alternative to soda! My favorite flavors are Strawberry Vanilla, Classic Root Beer and Orange Squeeze. The commonality between the three is there's a smooth and creamy taste to them that makes you want to keep it close for constant sipping.

I'd say the only think to note is that some flavors have more of an after taste than others but that's to be expected especially with the different botanical and plant fiber ingredients. I'd say try the most popular and stick to the ones you like! I suggest putting any flavor over ice for the best taste.

  • Some flavors are better than others. I love the Tropical Punch and Orange Squeeze. Not a fan of the ginger. They are a bit expensive —around $2.50+ per can. I can’t say it’s a had huge difference on digestion but they’re good when I’m craving soda.

  • Legit ingredients, beautiful branding, and I’m obsessed with almost every flavor - especially Lemon Lime and Orange. Me and my family can’t get enough. It’s either water or Olipop!

It costs more than a regular sofa but the ingredients and health benefit (plus taste!) are worth it. Olipop’s mission is to move people from drinking sugar-filled sodas to something that’s actually good for you ❤️

  • Olipop is that girl. Yes, there are a few calories attached, but you get a load of benefits in return: probiotics and fiber that keep your digestive system healthy. The stars for me are the tropical punch, classic grape, and ginger lemon (great if you have nausea). They've helped me cut down on diet sodas and feel like a nice little "snack."

    Feedback

I have tried almost all the regular flavors except for Doctor Goodwin. The orange is probably my least favorite - the "orange" flavor is a little too artificial for me. Because they're high in fiber, these do make you "regular." I wouldn't drink more than two in a day.

  • I LOVE this product. You can tell it works in the gut, tastes amazing, and has a variety of flavors. I buy this on repeat at the grocery store, it's the best afternoon pick me up!

  • I tried the strawberry vanilla flavor and it tasted great. I was worried about how the vanilla flavoring would be in a sparkling drink but it was very smooth with no artificial aftertaste. The branding is great and caught my eye right away.

Seeing as I didn't bloat after drinking a fizzy drink like I normally would, its claims to help digestion were true!
