Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

I'm a big fan of this oat milk for the simple reason it actually foams very very well to make lattes :) it also tastes great. I definitely recommend it, it is now a staple in my home

Great product, especially for those who are lactose intolerant and wish to try oat based milk

The texture is the best! I have my best latte with it

I love the taste of Oatly and drink it often - I just wish it didn't use a vegetable oil (rapeseed/canola)

Testing my blood glucose and drinking Oatly has made them go through the roof! It’s no wonder I’ve been having a hard time losing my pregnancy weight!

Very nice alternative for drinking your latte macchiato in vegan style. Unfortunately it is rather expensive that’s why I reduced one point. The milk is good for using it in machines that will produce nice foam. I only had problems with one machine where the milk was not really getting foamy.

Love this milk for our cereal and the creamer in our coffee. This is the creamiest non-dairy milk I’ve tried!

Absolutely amazing oat milk. Drink this all the time, using it in coffee, matcha, london fog, smoothies...even in meals as a milk replacement

I recently tried Oatly oat milk and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! As someone who is lactose intolerant, I have tried many non-dairy milk alternatives over the years, but Oatly has quickly become my favorite. The taste is rich and creamy, with just the perfect hint of sweetness. The texture is smooth and froths up perfectly for my morning latte. What I love most about Oatly is that it's not only delicious, but it's also a more sustainable and eco-friendly option compared to traditional dairy milk. Oatly's commitment to using high-quality, non-GMO oats and reducing their carbon footprint makes me feel good about my choice to use their products. Overall, I highly recommend giving Oatly a try - you won't be disappointed!

The OG oats milk brand. I love the branding, the storytelling, and the constant innovation from Oatly. Not just their drinks products but their "yogurts" too. I feel that they could work on making their products more accessible, because clearly there is room to lower prices. But price apart, taste and brand is something I really appreciate.

best alternative milk out there! I have tried so many different brands & varieties of plant-based milks and this one is by far my fave. the consistency is perfect for anything - cereal, lattes, baking and the taste is wonderful.

When I first made the switch to oat milk, I loved Oatly! But it contains rapeseed oil, so if you are looking to make healthier choices it's probably not the best choice.

I love the taste of this oat milk but it is a little overpriced and doesn't contain the best ingredients.

Oatly is the only Oatmilk I buy. Most others use sunflower oil to emulsify with oats, but they always have a strong sunflower flavor. I use both the full fat and barista oatly for cappuccinos at home, and it froths as well as cow's milk. The only gripe is that it can be more expensive than other brands, but I'm ok with that since it's so good.

An absolute staple in my diet. I am lactose intolerant and this has honestly saved me! I use the barista edition at work in my office (myself and a vegan colleague) and at home I use this in my morning coffee. Oatly always get the consistency perfect - barista is light enough to fluff up and stay fluffy and the full fat version is as thick as cow's milk. Brilliant and ahead of the game in so many ways. The chocolate milk is to die for as well!
