Reviews mention

  • Creamy, luxurious mouthfeel
  • Reliable, barista-grade frothing
  • Smooth, neutral oat flavor
  • Versatile, beverage performance
  • Additive-heavy ingredient list
  • Seed oil, rapeseed inclusion
  • Occasional digestive discomfort
  • Sometimes overly sweet taste

Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • I love this oat drink! It works well with my London fog

  • Loving Oatly, know it from the UK where it is actually affordable. It's too expensive to be honest here in Canada. Too bad, I would love to continue with this awesome taste.

  • Love the branding, the tone of voice, the level of information the brand shares about plant-based milk in a fun, engaging way. I'm not a huge oat drinker (soy-gal here) but as they go, Oatly tastes delicious and doesn't give me breakouts like other oat milks do that appear to have a lot more additives. I particularly love the Barista Edition which foams up amazingly, unlike a lot of other plant milks.

  • I love oatly barista edition. It has a great level of creaminess and foamability, perfect for mixing in drinks and creating foam toppings.

  • tastes delicious specially with coffee

  • my wife has been lactose intolerant for many years. We ran across this brand last year and for the first time it allowed her to enjoy milk, smoothies, milk, and coffee and milk on cereal highly enjoyed using this product.

  • + Good branding and marketing + Rich foaming properties + Pleasant taste + Suitable for vegans - Highly processed - Relatively high price considering it primarily consists of water, oat powder, and inexpensive rapeseed oil - Poor nutritional profile with significant amounts of sugars (carbs) - Non-organic (although an organic edition is now available) - Contains Dipotassium phosphate (cheap emulsifier, stabilizer and texturizer) - Oats contain phytic acid, which can hinder the absorption of iron, zinc, calcium and more Overall, I would advise against consuming this type of milk alternative due to the potential insulin spike, which can result in fatigue, lack of focus, and possibly lead to a calorie surplus due to the high sugar content.

  • it's a good, creamy alternative to milk products for coffee/smoothies, etc.... Pro: it foams nicely, more than almond/soy milks Cons: contains gums

  • Best popular oat milk brand! It’s thicker and creamier and closer to the texture of real milk than any other oat milks I’ve tried

  • Adorei o sabor, um amigo me deu e amei

  • I’m an Oatly evangelist. This milk alternative has become an absolutely essential part of my morning routine (and one of my favorite parts about waking up in the morning). Oatly tastes delicious in hot or cold coffee drinks, as well as with protein powder or in smoothies. It is so versatile and tastes natural w/ just the right hint of sweetness. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to replace dairy. Half and half is dead to me, long live Oatly.

  • Tasted so nice loved it

  • my favorite oatmilk brand

  • My favorite addition to my coffee! Makes it taste creamier and adds a great flavor profile to my drinks.

  • I love oatly products. I make my coffee every day w Oatly “milk”. It makes the perfect froth and tastes delicious!

  • I have issues with regular milk and I have tried many alternatives. I love Oatly because its the one of the only milk alternatives I can have that wont bother my tummy. The taste has a bit of an oatmeal flavor but its not too overwhelming. I definitely buy this product pretty often and recommend.

  • Love this brand of oatmilk. It foams so well for your morning coffee. It is more expensive than other comparable brands like Chobani, so I don't usually go for this one although it is one of my favorites.

  • I enjoyed the taste of this oat milk. I recommend the unflavored and add flavored syrup instead.

  • Love it!
