  • Additive-heavy ingredient list
  • Seed oil, rapeseed inclusion

  • Sometimes overly sweet taste

Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • It’s good for lattes, tastes nice, but too expensive for daily use. Higher calories, too.

  • Don’t get me wrong this product is tasty, but I don’t love that they use rapeseed oil. This is a product I keep in my home.

  • Don’t love oat milk in general, but Oatly specifically has sooo much added oils it grosses me out. I can even kind of taste it when I occasionally end up w a drink that has it. Wouldn’t recommend.

  • My favorite ever oat milk. So creamy and delicious. Steams the absolute best as a barista

  • I am a plant based girl & Oatly is one of my top 2 & I only have 2 that I love lol Oatly is delicious it has an oat taste but not too overpowering! I love to use it in my protein shakes & Ive also used it to make 1st vegan baked mac & it was DELICIOUS! I would definitely say try it.You wont be disappointed!

  • I first tried Oatly as a way to get away from my creamer addiction. I had tried every almond and soy alternative and could not find anything I liked. Until Oatly, I would always go back to the old school creamers that I knew weren’t good for me. I hear it up in a frother and add a little honey and my coffee is amazing. I’ve recently started putting it in my teas at night and love it!

  • Consistent high quality taste, but wish there was a zero added sugar option

  • My favorite brand of oat milk! I use it for my coffee every morning. It is excellent in smoothies too! Great taste, doesn't lump up like some other oatmilks!

  • I like their oat milk, but lately I haven't been loving the taste of oat milk in general. That aside, they have great milk options for lattes.

  • My favorite oatmilk! Super tasty and creamy and really nice to work with if you are an at-home barista.
