Reviews mention

  • Creamy, milklike mouthfeel
  • Exceptional frothing performance
  • Versatile, coffee-enhancing flavor
  • Consistent, barista-grade texture
  • Additive-heavy ingredient list
  • Occasionally too sweet taste
  • Watery low‑fat variant texture
  • Potential gut sensitivity reports

Oatly impresses in reviews for creamy, café-worthy performance—especially Barista Edition, which froths reliably and elevates lattes, matcha, and espresso—while its distinct oat flavor works across coffee, cereal, baking, and smoothies. Reviews also flag meaningful drawbacks: frequent concerns about additives/oils, sweetness and blood-sugar impact, occasional separation or watery low‑fat variants, and mixed reactions to texture; fans call it the best-tasting oat milk, but ingredient purists and some sensitive stomachs report issues.

  • It's good! Creamier than a lot of other oat milks.

    Feedback

    A little too pricey.

  • Good oat milk products!! I am lactose intolerant and generally grab oat milk at the supermarket. I am a fan of their yogurts and milk. I have yet to try their ice cream bars but didn’t love their normal ice cream.

  • This brand is a great milk alternative for coffee and smoothies. It has a very nice oat flavor that isn’t too overpowering compared to other brands.

    Feedback

Adding different consistencies to the milk.

  • I really like the taste of oatly!

    Feedback

I wish the ingredients were cleaner. Maybe they can come out with a separate cleaner version.

  • Not all oat milk are made equal! I fully believe Oatly's oat milk is superior in taste and texture. It doesn't curdle like some other brands do and the consistency is smooth and goes great with your coffee. 100% an Oatly loyalist.

A liiiittle pricey but it's worth it!

  • This is the best alternative to any creamer/milk i’ve used. I regularly put this in smoothies, over cereal, and in coffee. It’s super smooth (not as watery as almond milk) and surprisingly creamy without being think or too strong.

  • As someone who is trying to avoid dairy as much as possible, I really love Oatly! It has a nice consistency and does not taste bitter!

  • Taste really good. The barista edition is better than the original.

  • Oatly is delicious. Oat milk overall is my favorite non dairy milk, and Oatly was the first brand of oat milk I ever tried. So creamy, great flavor.

After drinking Oatly for a year, I’ve had only two less-than-great experiences, where two cartons I bought in a row had just the slightest “off” flavor to them despite being well before the best-by date. Oatly customer service was great, because I contacted them about this (I was uhhh in a slightly manic phase) and they responded promptly and courteously. To be honest I’m now a Chobani girl but if it weren’t for those two weird cartons I’d still be drinking Oatly.

  • I'm a big cow's milk drinker (sue me) and am not a fan of nut milk or soy milk. But once I tried oat milk, I became a believer. I've actually never tried another brand before so I can't compare it to other oat milks on the shelf. Personally obsessed with the chocolate Oatly. It's my own personal indulgence.

Would love if the price was a bit lower.

  • Loveeee this brand! Use it every day for my coffee, overnight oats, smoothies, etc.

  • Honestly pretty good I like how it tastes like oat milk and it is coffee friendly

The store of the kind for

  • Oatly’s oat milk has a cream level unlike any alt milk, and can easily be swapped into baking and savory recipes without a noticeable difference from milk. The full fat is my favorite version. I’ve also tried their ice cream and the plain oat flavor left a bit to be desired. Functionally ice cream, but missing a compelling flavor profile.

Packaging that can be recycled without a special facility.

  • Tastes really good, a bit sweet, and froths AMAZINGLY

    Feedback

Not sure if there's an unsweetened option but it's generally a bit sweet and calorie heavy

  • I don’t really like Oatley’s taste and it has vegetable oil in its ingredient list. I like healthier, better tasting oat milk.

Switch to clean, organic ingredients and leave the rapeseed oil out!

  • I will never go back to milk/plant based milk products. this has changed my coffee game forever.

  • Oatmilk tastes okay but there are WAY too many unnecessary and toxic ingredients.

    Feedback

Go Organic and get rid of all the unnecessary and toxic ingredients in your Oatmilk.

  • Absolutely delicious for at-home dairy-free cappuccinos and lattes. It foams up really well unlike almond milk.

    Feedback

I don't use that much of the drink in my day to day as it is usually for topping off my espresso drinks so a smaller package would be very appreciated.

  • Great taste but inflammatory ingredients 😔☹️
