Reviews mention

  • Refined, memorable fragrances
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Smooth, glide-on application
  • Accessible, diverse scent range
  • Inconsistent odor longevity
  • Occasional white residue transfer
  • Gritty, sticky deodorant texture
  • Noticeable shirt staining risk

Native earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its deodorants and body washes smell exceptional and many users say they work for everyday wear, while others report short wear time, residue, and staining. Reviews praise clean-feeling formulas, sensitive-skin options, and standout scents like Coconut & Vanilla, Eucalyptus & Mint, and Citrus & Herbal Musk, but note inconsistent odor control in heat/workouts, occasional rashes or grit, and cardboard-packaging ergonomics.

  • I really like this brand. I have tried out their deodorant ,body wash shampoo and conditioners. I mostly enjoy the spray deodorant because it doesn’t leave a yellow stain like the stick ones so beware if you’re wearing white!! I recommend, they smell amazing.

  • Love the idea of their products but the deodorant specifically does not work well for me. I do like the body wash and shampoo & conditioner.

  • Have been using the coconut scented hair and body wash and it's amazing.

  • I love the smells! Lilac is so great! It lasts for a long time. Only thing I would change is the ability to get the last bit out of it, at a certain point it just falls out the top.

  • Body washes and hair work well and smell great. Natural deodorant doesn’t last.

  • I was bummed about Native. They are now known to be a company that greenwashes. Their deodorant lasts maybe an hour, but only in the perfect conditions. Air-conditioned room, with minimal movement. If you are someone who need a low-scent, sweat-blocking, long-lasting deodorant, this brand is not for you. I love the idea behind this brand and their recyclable packaging, but they still have a long way to go in backing up their product claims.

  • The only all natural deodorant that REALLY works, and it smells so good.

  • I tried the sensitive skin facial cleanser and used it a couple times but can't bring myself to use it anymore. It has the smell and consistency of glue and it dries out my skin. It was a waste of a bottle.

  • Great scents and they smell better when rubbed on your skin than in the bottles. Especially the detergents!

  • This is one of few brands of deodorant that do not irritate my skin and has an effect. I like the variety of options for scents and that you can purchase a plastic-free container, but I wish that it was the same price as the plastic containers because the plastic-free is more expensive (or sell refills for a plastic container)

  • I love the native brand products they are gentle on the skin, leave skin smelling great, smooth and hydrated, deodorant last more than 24 hrs during hot sticky weather, stress or intense activity

  • Native's Body Wash and Deodorant are my new favorite personal hygiene products. Finding a high quality body wash and deodorant have been a priority of mine and I believe I have found it !

  • I really like the coconut vanilla deodorant, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and I only have to reapply every 6 hours or so. That’s pretty impressive for a natural deodorant.

  • All of the products smell amazing but the deodorant doesn’t really work.

  • One of my favorite brands of deodorant works really well. Good for people with sensitivities.

  • Native body and face wash are requirement in my shower, they have the best smells and are sustainable. I have sensitive skin and Native does not irritate it at all. The deodorant isn't the best, at least not for me I sweat a lot and my long curly hair wishes it could be tamed by Native hair care but it is too finicky .
