I am a true matcha fan. Today was my first time trying out this matcha brand at home for breakfast today. I made my own version of an iced matcha latte with the matcha powder, almond milk and a 1 packet of the POCA caramel syrup flavor. To be completely honest the flavor of the matcha I did not like at all. This was one of the most nutty flavored matcha powder I’ve ever had. I usually tend to like my matcha lattes sweetened and not too nutty.

This is the matcha I have been looking for!! The umami is perfectly savory and sweetens well with a little honey. The color is bright, and you can tell this isn’t highly processed; it’s about as fresh from the Japanese source as you can get! This is definitely my new go-to brand.
