Muji wins strong reviews for minimalist, well‑made essentials that generally perform—from beloved 0.38–0.5 gel pens and high‑quality notebooks to durable organizers, travel containers, diffusers, and select apparel—yet the brand draws criticism for inconsistent clothing quality/fit, occasional product misses (cleaning tools, some suitcases), and prices that feel high for basics. Reviews also praise the serene in‑store experience and timeless design while noting limited color variety and that certain items smudge or skip, so discerning shoppers should target stationery, storage, travel accessories, and home goods over more variable categories.

I remeber making fun of my mom whenever she walked in to Muji. I have become her lol! Wherever I travel and there is one, i think i go in about 10x per trip. It has everything one needs and more
Muji is my minimalist love language. From their notebooks to their linen loungewear, everything feels intentional, calming, and quietly beautiful. It’s the kind of brand that makes me breathe deeper just being around it. Whether I’m organizing the pantry or journaling after bedtime, Muji helps me reclaim tiny moments of peace.
too many great products to name; love the aesthetic, value and practicality they bring across the board

I love Muji items! They are simple design and very functional. Especially I love their office supply items. Very simple and easy to use.
MUJI is Everything! What can I say about MUJI? I love everything—the whole concept, the minimal design, the quality. It’s simple, functional, and effortlessly cool. Whether it’s stationery, home goods, or clothing, everything feels well-made and intentional. Honestly, it’s one of my absolute favorite shops. I could spend hours there and never get tired of it!
personally purchased; customer for over 10+ years It's tough leaving a singular review for MUJI. For the uninitiated, I like to call MUJI the IKEA of/from japan. Large lifestyle brands with country/culture based philosophies that drive their design and practicality of use for everything from furniture, ot stationary, to kitchen items, to fabrics, to coats and bags. Over the years I have purchased items of theirs for storage and organization, clothing, stationary, cd players, etc. and never been disappointed. The only disappointment I carry - if any - is the sparse availability of their 'cooler' innovations in North American stores. This is to no fault of their own, and more likely to demand here, but it still doesn't stop my tiny FOMO from their asian releases.
Love their organization cubes and dividers. Pricing is extremely reasonable and quality is superb. Massive options to choose from which is nice.

My favorite simplistic brand with all the daily life necessities. I love going to this store in Asia as there are so much varieties to choose from. The products are of great quality and reasonable pricing. I personally always stock up on their pens & notebooks!

love the minimalistic design
Curated and resolved designs at an easily approached price point. Muji is a fantastic brand that often scratches that itch of home organisation in a refined curated approach. I specify Muji in almost all of my clients homes where storage’s solutions are required, Donate your old wicker baskets with gingham lining now.

It's japanese efficiency at its best. I love the stationary here.
Love muji pens! The precise point and ink that doesn't bleed makes it a great writing instrument

Great quality! I enjoy the minimalism and construction of the pieces. These pens have been used all throughout undergrad.
Everything about Muji is cool. I want to move into their stores and make a home there. They will kick me out at closing time, though, so I settle for buying tons of basic-chic notebooks, gel pens, slippers, and little home goods.

This review is really just for Muji stationary -- i love their pens, notebooks, highlighters, etc. They are good quality and a decent price. Great design. I don't really shop their clothes or home goods, although they look great.
