My dishes for the last 10 years have been Mikasa. They are well-made and sturdy, while also being delicate. While they're mostly sold in big box department stores, I've been really happy with my dishes and would buy more in the future.

I use a set of flatware made by Mikasa on a regular basis and have no complaints. I think the flatware is great quality and I love the thicker handles on my set. So many flatware sets have such thin handles that they bend easily if you are eating or scooping something a little firmer (ice cream and spoons for example).

I’m still using my Mikaela dinnerware that my late husband gifted me over 50 years ago. Beautiful & sturdy dinnerware.
