  • I'm a lover of quality handbag brands and was struck by how beautiful and unique the designs of Mietis were. After wanting to buy something for almost two years, I decided to buy a limited edition charm in the shape of flowers as a first customer experience with them. What a disappointment it has been so far. I placed my order on April 26th and received a confirmation email on the 27th saying that it would be arriving on April 29th. When I didn't receive it by a week later, I reached out to them and a very nice customer service representative named Nicole replied, apologizing for the delay and saying that due to the "level of detail and craftsmanship involved, it requires a little more time than initially anticipated to ensure it meets our quality standards." I accepted that explanation as this was my first time shopping with Mietis and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, especially as I always want to support small brands. On May 6th after not hearing back from them again and still no sign of my order (the only status listed was that a UPS shipping label had been created on April 27th but that UPS was still awaiting the drop off of the item) I reached out to them again. Nicole responded again saying "due to the high volume or orders and the fact that your piece is part of a limited edition, your order will need a little more time than initially expected." She then goes on to write "Your order is now scheduled to be shipped starting from next week, and we are giving it priority within our atelier." On May 13th, after waiting a week and still no update on my order, I reached out again asking to see if it was still scheduled to be sent this week. This time there was no reply. I waited two more days and reached out to Nicole again (May 15th) and said that if they can't ship my order today that I would like them to refund my money to my credit card. I am still waiting to hear from someone but so far, there's been no response. I feel exasperated and completely disenchanted by my experience with Mietis. I would never recommend anyone order from this company as they seem to be unreliable and not legitimate and do not keep their promises to their customers. What a massive disappointment. I wish that I had read these recent poor reviews as I could have avoided much aggravation with this company.

  • So bad I received a pink bag that smelled strongly of marijuana and had visible signs of use, such as scratches on the hardware and different color seams from the webpage. I received really poor customer service; the individual who responded to me was a total despot and quite vague about when I would be receiving a brand-new bag. After a long wait (2 MONTHS), they finally gave me the same filthy, worn bag with the incorrect name put on the post card. I purchase items from designers, and these folks have no humility. It would not be surprising if they misled about the state of the leather given how easily soiled and damaged the low quality leather is. Very disheartening.
