Reviews mention

  • Exceptional variety selection
  • Rare, exotic fruit offerings
  • Vivid, flavorful produce
  • Careful, protective packaging
  • Inconsistent ripeness quality
  • Smaller-than-expected portions
  • Unlabeled assortment confusion
  • Unreliable processing timelines

Miami Fruit wins passionate reviews for delivering rare, vividly flavorful tropical varieties—think sapodilla, black sapote, mamey, finger limes, and curated variety boxes—but the reviews also reveal serious drawbacks: inconsistent ripeness/quality, small quantities versus expectations, and poor communication or refunds. Overall, the brand can be extraordinary for discovering exotic fruit, yet buyers risk receiving bruised or delayed items and confusing, unlabeled assortments.

  • Best quality fruit I’ve ever had, crazy amount of variety too

  • Miami Fruit has such an amazing selection and variety of tropical fruits. Everything is always incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. The service is incredible too. I will be coming back! Definitely recommend!

  • Always love getting Miami Fruit! They have a wide variety of exotic fruits that I’ve always wanted to try or never heard of and get to learn about. Much love to the Miami fruit team 🌱

  • Wow! This is an amazing service. I’m so glad I found Miami Fruit. The ripeness, freshness and flavor of the fruit is unbeatable. The packaging and delivery were top notch. I will be ordering again!!!!

  • I had such an incredible experience with Miami Fruit! I ordered one of their tropical fruit boxes and was honestly blown away from start to finish. The fruit arrived quickly and in absolutely beautiful condition—everything was perfectly packed and clearly handled with care. What really makes them stand out is their support for local farmers in the Redland area of Miami. You can truly taste the difference in the quality and freshness, knowing it’s coming straight from passionate growers. The sapodilla in my box was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly ripe, sweet, and full of flavor. And the black sapote and canistel were amazing too, such unique and delicious treats! If you’re even thinking about trying exotic or tropical fruit, I can’t recommend Miami Fruit enough. This was easily one of the best fruit experiences I’ve ever had!

  • Amazing quality! Would strongly recommend - everything was delicious 😋

  • If you’re into rare tropical fruits or just want to try something completely different, they are hands down the best in the game.

  • Great experience each time. I have ordered multiple boxes. Very lovely farm.

  • Great produce, great service! I couldn't have asked for a more attentive experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else for fruit at this point - and I don't see why you should either! Make sure you come here for any of your future fruit needs.

  • This fruit is the best! Every time I order a shipment I am so excited to taste everything! If you like exotic fruits, Miami Fruit has got what you crave.

  • Extremely Disappointed — Especially Given the Circumstances I ordered over $400 worth of fruit for my 85‑year‑old, ill parent, hoping to send something fresh and comforting. Unfortunately, the order arrived in terrible condition — much of the fruit was rotten, bruised, and broken. It was completely unacceptable, especially for the price and the purpose of the gift. I contacted the company immediately on the day the package was received to express my disappointment and request a refund, which was refused. I was shocked by the lack of accountability and customer care, especially given the condition of the product and the situation. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely upsetting. I cannot recommend this company based on the quality of the product I received and the response from customer service.

  • I was so excited to order some really hard to find tropical fruit. There was a bogo sale for Christmas on the build your own tropical fruit box where you pick the fruits yourself, so I ordered 2 boxes. I wasn't given a ship date so I emailed and the rep was very kind and took my ship date with nor problem. She told me that one of my fruits wasnt available and asked me to pick another, which I did. I later saw a fruit that I had veen dying to try and asked if I could replace my previous replacement. She excitedly agreed. My order didnt come. I emailed for days trying to find out what happened and when I could schedule it. I finally received an email saying that it was shipped and would arrive on a day I didnt anticipate having to be home! When I got the order, they hadnt switched to my new fruit. I emailed, asking how to rectify this o ersight and was told tahat the fruit that I DID receive wasnt on the order anymore and they probably just didnt have the new fruit and left it out. This happened with no communication! I emailed, asking how to rectify this, along with pictures of the lists on the boxes. I havent received any further communication. Honestly, its a gamble to order. Some bananas ripened beautifully while some didnt ripen at all. The fruits were at various stages of ripening and some spoiled vefore ripening avcording to their online guide. Even with the BOGO, I would not order again.

  • The sugar cane "one fruit" is not actually a whole fruit/stalk. They sent you a 4 inch section of the stalk that is all dried out and not even edible. Don't waste your time overpriced and you are guaranteed to be disappointed. I asked for a refund because they lied about ot being "one fruit" and they said they don't do refunds. So now I'm out $44 plus tax and shipping for gross inaccurate descriptions.

  • This is a weird but such a fun company! I bought a small variety box after coming across their incredible Instagram content (I seriously recommend following their IG... it makes me SO happy). The box was filled with fun little fruits I had never even heard of (caviar lime was a favorite!!). This is a really great and different gift.

  • Love it, love it, love it. It's so hard for me to find high quality tropical fruit in California, and most of the stuff I find in local grocery stores are just bad quality. But alas, Miami Fruit provides treasure chests for the hopeless and forlorn tropical fruit lover (that's me). The small variety box is $97, but every single piece of fruit was great quality. Although I griped at the price at the beginning, it was all worth it by the time I had feasted. Keep an eye out for their promos! They have worthwhile sales and even free supplemental boxes sometimes.

  • I am obsessed with tropical fruits! I want to try them all! Miami fruit makes these dreams come true, but for a luxury price. They do offer promos which are good to take advantage of. Their shipping can be unpredictable. I’ve shipped fruit arrives fast and in great condition, however the processing times are unclear and can take longer than expected.

Make processing times clear upfront. Provide variety guides when ordering variety boxes. The product is at a luxury price point, so the experience should be more luxe.

  • Total scammers! Very small amount of fruit for a crazy price. I received a $67 cherimoya (one fruit) smaller than an avocado and a tiny soursop. The pictures on the website were misleading, showing much larger fruit. My $260 order included 6 fruit, the largest of which was a cacao. Ignorant customer service, with zero … given. I recommend buying elsewhere. Don't waste your money.

  • I absolutely love this company! I have the ability to try and enjoy fruits I would otherwise never hear about or be able to purchase in my area. I also have sent soo many boxes to friends and family and they have the best times trying new fruits they never knew existed! My mom brings boxes to her church and everyone raves about their experiences. The dried fruit packs are also so delicious as well as miracle fruit cubes are a highly underrated experience I recommend to everyone! Prices may not be the most inexpensive however I don’t see anyone else growing their own extremely rare and exotic fruits and plants so y'all should understand how much time and effort goes into each fruit and each box and those efforts are worth every penny you pay for these experiences. The best quality food is never inexpensive!
