I ordered the navy clip because I wanted to be able to keep a claw clip in my hair comfortably while resting on the couch or while driving. The clip is a nice color, the shape and design are sleek and modern, and it’s a versatile style that goes with lots of things. That being said the claw clip is not soft and flexible at all. That advertising shot where the hand is squeezing the clip? Wearing it is nothing like that. The claw clip definitely isn’t as hard as most plastic or resin clips, but the visual implication that it will be both squishy and hold on to your hair is just false. It has been uncomfortable to wear lying down in the bath, awkward and painful against the headrest while driving, and even pressed against pillows in bed or on the couch. It is not what I was hoping for at all. I don’t necessarily regret purchasing it because of the style and the usefulness of the color, but it is absolutely not delivering on it’s marketing promise.
