Move over David Chang, nothing compared to Marimakan's sambal!!! We have had her cater my patent's anniversary and a baby shower and she introduced me to her sambal. It's literally crack and I find every opportunity to put it on my food. She uses the best ingredients and puts so much care into her food and sambal. There is so much umami and spicy punch to her sambal and makes any bland food immediately better. I finished a jar of crab sambal in 3 days! I also have her sambal bilis always on hand in my fridge as a condiment I use on everything. All my friends in the Bay Area are also now hooked and have me order for them regularly!
