  • Do yourself a favor and purchase your first pack of Makku. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The drink is absolutely amazing – every flavor we tasted was so good, the best I've had outside of Korea. Absolutely the best Makgeolli we had in awhile. Highly recommend!

The best part I loved was receiving cocktail recipes; so more new fresh ways to use Makku would exciting.

  • I am gluten-free so maybe I am biased but I got this at Peachy's bar in Manhattan. I was obsessed and have been on the lookout ever since. I got the mango flavour of the Mokku, their line of makgeolli and it was so delicious.

Getting placed in more alcohol stores!

  • Bad. Bought a pack at h mart. First packaging is really cheap. I like my drink cold. I had a house party and a bunch different drinks mixed with ice and when i pulled out this makku, it just felt so cheap compare others. Taste was horrible. Im sorry. Color of drink looks tasteless overall. Love trying to promote korean drinks but please dont make fun of originals

  • I have tried both the soku and makku drinks and they both exceeded my expectations. I added thai basil to the soku drinks and it was amazing. My favorite makku is the passionfruit after trying the variety pack but you should try them all.

In their own words

Inspired from makgeolli, a traditional Korean alcohol, Makku is a lightly sparkling brew made from rice. Fermented from rice and coarsely filtered, Makku has a hazy and smooth body, with light bubbles and a hint of sweetness. Ingredients include rice, nuruk (Korean fermentation agent), water, brewer's yeast, cane sugar, and fruit puree. Makku products are produced in South Korea, and are gluten free, all- natural, and vegan, with 6% abv. Double Gold winner, New York International Beer Competition, 2021
