I had been following the science behind LYMA for a long time before finally deciding to invest in the laser. It is absolutely an investment, but once I understood the technology and the long game behind consistent use, I was in. I have been using it daily on my face and neck, along with a white sun spot on my arm, and I am fully committed to sticking with it. The first change I noticed was a softening around my eyes. Not dramatic overnight magic, but that subtle shift where your face starts looking a little more rested and less etched in. What has surprised me most is the spot on my arm. The discoloration already appears softer, which has made me even more motivated to stay consistent. My hope is that over time this becomes the thing that either replaces Botox altogether or at least stretches the time between appointments. Either way, I am very excited to see where this goes.

I've been using this for more than half a year now. I did a lot of research, and a lot of people made sure to note that this is not a true laser. I decided to take the chance anyway - I do see results with healing, but I'm not sure if is more (or less) effective than any other red light/infrared light device. Some other issues that I had: - The literature is rife with typos, which feels unprofessional. - I noticed some residue on the inside of the glass (between the reflective honeycomb surface & light source), and I emailed about it. I imagine the reflective surface is what amplifies the light source to create the "laser-like" technology, so wouldn't this affect the treatment intensity? They responded that it is glue and is only cosmetic, but they would replace it. - The customer service took a long time to respond. - I did receive a replacement device, and it has a larger glue blob. I also noticed that there is a gap between the glass and device housing edge, and dust easily gets trapped there but is impossible to get out. To make matters worse, the thick glass magnifies the dust. Overall, it is a great red light device for travel but I'm not sure if it's worth the hefty price tag given the above issues. I'll keep using the device and might update later on.
