It started on a commercial construction site, a lobby wall of 1970s glass blocks about to be demolished... Beautiful, decades-old glass, a timeless architectural element, about to be smashed because that is the fastest and cheapest way to deal with them... So without knowing what I'd do with them, I intervened. I rescued those blocks, the first of over 3 tonnes that have now been restored, repurposed and given a second life as Lumo Bloc lamps. Every reclaimed glass block is paired with a base handcrafted from sustainably sourced timber. Every lamp comes with five interchangeable colour lenses. Colour and light are extremely impactful on mood and wellbeing, Lumo Bloc allows you to set the mood. Every order is fully customisable and handmade when you order it. No mass production. No waste.
