LIVELY earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers comfortable, cute basics—especially bralettes, T-shirt bras, and nursing styles—but durability, sizing accuracy, and support for larger cups undermine the experience. Reviews praise soft fabrics, versatile cross-back/J-hook details, and wire-free ease, while citing strapless discomfort, materials that pill or stretch, slipping straps, and a “busty” range that tops out at DDD and fits inconsistently.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
No-boob gal here. I need not ye wires and contraptions to support these babies. I need something comfortable that lives by a less-is-more motif. Lively is my go-to recommendation for someone needing a convertible bra with comfortable wear.
The T-shirt bras are a staple. The cross-back hook makes them very versatile. They're comfortable and flattering.
Feedback
The no-wire bras are significantly less comfortable than the wire ones. The edge of the bra just digs in! Hopefully that can be fixed in future iterations.

I have the Busty Bralette and the The No-Wire Strapless Bra. I wear the Busty Bralette when I wear a low-cut dress. It's supportive enough for me, but I can't imagine it being supportive enough for someone who is over a DDD cup. It's comfortable, looks cute, and was reasonably priced. The No-Wire Strapless Bra went in the trash after a couple wears. It stayed up about as well as any strapless bra stays up, but it was very uncomfortable after a couple hours because the boning dug into my sides.
I’m always looking for bralettes that are for big cup sizes, which are hard to find and have bought 3 busty bralettes from lively. Generally, I’m glad I found this brand, but the sizing seems off. Each of the bras (each of which I have in the same size) are in different sizes… One has a band that’s too tight, one I spill out of and one fits just right

So. They’re super comfy and cute, but they don’t wear well. Not long after I got mine, the edges of the cups stretched out and made lines under my shirts. All of them. Maybe I picked the wrong style?
Truly question this brand's definition of "busty," which tops out at at DDD. I also question my own judgement in buying bras from them more than once thinking that maybe this time the "busty" bralette will work for me. Their branding and aesthetic is spot on and I'm a sucker I guess. The bras fit okay to start but quickly leave me feeling unsupported as the material stretches. I'm a 32DDD and bought the size recommended by the size guide but the cups are really too small. Sizing up would make the band even less supportive overall. The straps are relatively narrow and have a tendency to dig in.
Feedback
More specific sizing (i.e., actual band and cup sizes), wider straps on the busty sizes to help distribute weight, offer more styles in the busty sizes.
I liked the aesthetic, the shapes, and the fit.

Materials were just okay, but my main issue was the quality. It just didn't hold up that long and the glue along the seams started coming apart. Generally I'm looking for more hard-wearing items.

I was very disappointed with this product. I ordered a lace strapless bra and wore it for one day and it could not have been more uncomfortable. It rubbed my skin raw after 4 hours.

I wish they accepted returns on merchandise that has been worn once. Or at least an exchange for another item.

I've tried a few bras from Lively, and the quality wasn't there for me to condinue with the brand. One bra I received as a gift and it didn't wash well and got worn out and pilled pretty quickly. I did purchase a nursing bra from them that was very sexy and I still wear it to this day. It's a mixed bag for me.

I absolutely love this brand!! I have only been wearing Lively for my everyday bra for at least 5 years now. I have had the same bra for probably 3 years and I can still wear it everyday, it has yet to fall apart. It’s a super inclusive brand that is just incredibly reliable. It has extended sizing for all body types and there’s great customer service if you need help with anything at all, both in person and online.

I wish there was more development for the Busty styles they have. I went to repurchase from them after a year or so since I had been wearing the same one for a while, and I was pretty surprised that they still basically only had the same options they did a year before. It doesn’t seem like there’s much development here as I would love to see more designs and shape options (different colors, materials). For example, there is no busty scoop neck bralette, which I feel like is necessary for certain tops.

They are very comfortable and supportive. But they don’t last. The back books have come loose after 2-3 washes. I’ve made two orders and none of the bras last past 2-3 washes. Contacting customer service is always a pain so no desire to complain, send back, wait, and deal w that.
