  • Crisp, refreshing water
  • Recyclable aluminum packaging
  • Bold, distinctive branding
  • Satisfying sparkling carbonation
  • Non‑resealable tall cans
  • Occasional metallic aftertaste
  • Inconsistent flavored sweetness
  • Carbonation sometimes too gentle

Liquid Death earns strong reviews for crisp, refreshing still and sparkling water and edgy cans that make sober socializing feel seamless, though many note it’s “just water” with basic or inconsistent flavors and occasional metallic notes. Reviews say the brand is good for sustainability-minded buyers thanks to recyclable aluminum and standout branding, but weaknesses include sweetness in some flavored and tea lines, less punchy carbonation for some, and a non‑resealable can that’s inconvenient.

  • its a good gag gift. I've had it at parties and yup its just water. But surprisingly its less embarrassing to hold at a party than a cute little kid cup with nothing left but ice in it that you are pretending to still be drinking because your friend is still talking with someone but you can't hear because the DJ still believes that their half baked remix is more important than what this rando and your friend are talking about and its probably true but still its annoying. If only I had can of Liquid Death in those moments to carry me through.

  • I like the product but it’s way overhyped. I buy it only on sale at Sprouts.

  • Honestly, tasted like any other good quality water out there. GOOD WATER SHOULD NOT BE THIS EXPENSIVE. I do appreciate the use of the aluminum can vs. plastic though!!!

  • Love this brand! Great tasting water and sustainable packaging :)

The only con is that you can’t re-seal your water - so you have to drink it all in one sitting!

  • So overall for the longest time I simply walked past these in my local grocer thinking they were a new seltzer alcohol to be had. It wasn't until I actually stopped to take a peak at it when I realized it was water. Well I guess that's what I get for judging a book by it’s cover and title. After uncovering it was water and being on my quest for the best tasting water, I grabbed a few of the flavor varieties. Now I will say they are not for everyone and they were not for me. The flavors start off slightly appetizing but leave you with a lack of a finish at the end. It could be because of the reduced sugar content which is understandable. Overall, after trying severed lime, mango chainsaw, and berry it alive I found myself hesitant to continue drinking them as the flavor was not lively enough to entice me to finish them. So while the marketing and idea are very solid and attention-grabbing, they weren't one of my favorites to sip on.

The flavor overall just needs a finish with it being a sparkling beverage i’m not sure if the means exist that can be added to finish them like a Mortal Kombat punchline.

  • aluminium packaging is best- lighter than glass and space saving. overall water flavours are okay- i prefer the regular sparkling water over the flavored ones. since they use natural flavors i am not really a fan. carbonation is not as punchy as topo but is always my second pick

use natural fruit juices to flavor~

  • I love drinking this when I am not drinking alcohol and I’m out with a bunch of people. Makes me feel like I am still part of the group and a lot of people never realize I’m only drinking water. Additionally this water tastes great. Very crisp and refreshing.

  • Before trying Liquid Death I was not a big fan of carbonated water. But after this product, I am hooked. I really enjoyed the amount of carbonation they have in Liquid Death, and the bubbles are small like nice champagne which makes it more drinkable in my opinion.

After trying the flavored options, I feel like the flavors need to be tweaked a little. I can't say that I thought any of them tasted like the fruit they were named after and came across as more of an artificial flavor than I like.

  • it water. the flavored waters are pretty solid but not 10x better than alternatives.

great marketing. i drink it satirically sometimes. downside is there is not top, so if i was drinking a water on the go, i'd select an alternative. their flavored waters are ok.

  • SO COOL. Had trouble getting my boyfriend to stop drinking sodas and energy drinks throughout the day and got him a case of these for fun. Needless to say he loves them!

  • The branding is so fun, it makes you want to pick up and bottle and read everything this company has to say. I think that is important because how often do people read their bottled water labels? The actual water itself is also very good! No funky taste!

The only consideration I have for this brand is how they bring children along in the mission. Since the brand vibe leans 100% towards beer, it can be hard to make it cool without sending young kids the wrong message. Every time my young kids grab one they confirm with me it is not a beer first. On the flip, this could be interesting for teenagers who are not drinking.

  • If you are a water drinker girly you KNOW this is the water you need. I absolutely love this brand and the water is so good I can never get enough

  • It's water. Tastes like water. Except it's in a can. Yay. Great marketing though.

  • this tastes exactly like water so it hits the nail on the head in that respect. plus i can finally look cool drinking water which has been an issue historically for me. lastly, I've been looking for a way to introduce more metal into my life.

  • Like sparkling water? This is it! Comes in a recyclable cans, this product is pretty eco-friendly and delicious! They offer different fruity flavors as well if regular sparkling water isn't your jam.

Absolutely love how 'hard core' they make drinking water seem.

  • I love the fact that this is a more sustainable way to drink water but it tasted a little on the aluminum side.

  • this water is tasty! refreshing too. my only complaint is that the cops thought i had a open beer lol otherwise i always reach for this can when im out and need water

  • Not a big fan of sparkling water but this one was very good. I’ve tried other flavors from Liquid Death and they’re subtle, not overpowering, not too sweet, just perfect.

    Feedback

Probably consider exploring other unique flavors.

  • While the packaging is great, at the end of the day it's still just water. Filtered water, but water nonetheless. The carbonated version was a keeper for me though. I have trouble drinking highly carbonated drinks and Liquid death had just the right amount of fizz.

    Feedback

I would have love to more flavors.

  • I actually drank this at a bar! It’s completely normal Mountain water and it makes it seem like you have a drink in your hand. It’s design and look is amazing.
