Liquid Death earns polarizing reviews: many praise its crisp still and sparkling waters, edgy tallboy cans that help non-drinkers blend in at concerts, and recyclable aluminum packaging; others call it “just water,” note metallic or flat tastes, and dislike sweetened flavors and the recent source change to Virginia. Fans highlight flavors like Mango Chainsaw, Severed Lime, Berry It Alive, and teas (Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire), while critics cite bitter stevia aftertaste, limited carbonation, non‑resealable cans, and inconsistent flavor quality.

I had a mango flavor didn’t like it at all. It just tasted funky.

I'm not a huge sparkling water fan, but everything changed when I stumbled upon Liquid Death. The flavors actually taste good and I love their overall branding. Also when I go places and don't feel like drinking I feel more at ease with a Liquid Death in my hand.

best tasting water drink

Tastes like regular water. Nothing magical. It’s not more refreshing or hydrating than any other brand I’ve tasted. It’s no smoother. Just regular schmegular water.

I LOVE Liquid Death, I can taste how high quality the water is and their flavors are always amazing. I love Convicted Melon and Armless Palmer!

Liquid Death is my favorite water tp buy. It tastes so refreshing and the branding is so appealing to me. Not to gloss over the sustainability and the company mission for the material aspect. I really appreciate that their mission is to reduce single use plastic. I just wish that it was a little bit more budget friendly to purchase regularly .

Someone I was with once said Liquid Death tastes like you’re drinking water with pennies in it and I’ve never been able to forget it….

Very good water, tastes very clean, but I can taste the can. So if that bothers you, maybe not for you.

Pretty stupid product, hate getting them at concerts as they're not resealable so you can't put them in a pocket and they sponsor those events a lot. I've also seen their product poured from the can into a cup multiple times which ruins the whole point. It's over priced meh water. Big fan of eco friendly but think this misses the mark. Only tried their water and sparkling - nothing flavored.

Liquid death has to be one of the most fun and unique water/drink brands in today market! The can designs help non alcohol drinkers fit in with the crowd. The water is always fresh and crisp from these cans.

A coworker brought some cans of Liquid Death to a work do. I was excited to try it, since I'd never heard of it. It's ... fine? It's water, so it tastes like, I don't know, water? I see what they're trying to do, but recycled aluminum is still aluminum, which I thought we were all trying to avoid since it's a known neurotoxin. I guess it's a step up from crappy water in plastics bottles, leaching microplastics into our systems, and it did taste pretty good, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to spend money on boutique water unless I really needed a drink of water.

I actually love Liquid Death. I don’t know what it is but this is the only water I actually enjoy. I tried this for the first time at a festival and they had an amazing experience set up. I like that it is more environmentally friendly too!

Tried the Mango Chainsaw sparkling water after a long run and fell in love with the product. The taste was refreshing and crisp.

It's such a cool idea! The can definitely had me grabbing it thinking it was gonna be something else, nope. Just water, haha. It's great though because it has me drinking more water, and I've even gotten others around me to start getting Liquid Death.

I think this is a great option for hydration, especially in a party environment where the can design acts like a fun drink but it’s only water! the mango flavor is my favorite, it’s incredibly crisp and flavorful and I feel so hydrated after

I think this was a fun way to drink water! The name throws people off but it tastes just like water and it is more sustainable to use cans rather then plastic bottles.

out of all of the H2O brands out there, liquid death takes the cake for me. not only do i feel metal drinking it, the quality of the water is superb- it's so crisp and light and airy in ways that i can't explain.

I would say this is one of the better sparkling water brands. The one downside for me is it's not a screw top. I like to reseal sparkling water so the fizz doesn't go away as fast.

I will go out of my way to drink Liquid Death. Best when it’s cold. My father likes their sparkling water flavors. I get excited going to target, since they have them in stores now.
