Liquid Death earns polarizing reviews: many praise its crisp still and sparkling waters, edgy tallboy cans that help non-drinkers blend in at concerts, and recyclable aluminum packaging; others call it “just water,” note metallic or flat tastes, and dislike sweetened flavors and the recent source change to Virginia. Fans highlight flavors like Mango Chainsaw, Severed Lime, Berry It Alive, and teas (Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire), while critics cite bitter stevia aftertaste, limited carbonation, non‑resealable cans, and inconsistent flavor quality.

Overpriced
Cool but still just water
I didn't want to like this - I think the branding is a little "much" - but the taste is great. I think water tastes better out of a can.

I’ve had the still and sparkling along with the flavored products. The aluminum can does not add a metallic taste. The flavored seltzers were bland and not worth buying.

Tried from world market. Tastes good (like water) but love the packaging

Love their concept. Their drinks somehow feel more refreshing than the average water bottle. Plus at a concert or festival it just feels cooler to hold this than a plastic bottle.
It's water haha so there's not much to say! It's definitely more fun to drink out of a can, and the water is pretty crisp

I find it shocking that a company claims to be "sustainable" while transporting water from the Austrian alps, shipped across the world and packaged in aluminum. I do not care that the aluminum cans are recyclable, the mere process of creating a can is not sustainable nor is the waste you are creating with drinking Liquid Death.

For a while I wasn't really trying to drink when my friend group would get together and I'm a huge person when it comes to needing to have something in my hands at a party. THIS IS THE BRAND FOR YOU IF YOU'RE LIKE THAT! It looks like a beer, it tastes awesome, I dont have to worry about being drunk, and I feel like I fit in without having to deal with the adverse side effects of alcohol.
Feedback
maybe more non-carbonated flavors?
At the end of the day it is just a bottle of water. But it is cool branding and the metal can is great to reduce plastic use. Downside compared to bottled water is you can’t reseal it but less plastic is worth the sacrifice.
Does anyone else not understand the hype of this brand? It literally just sparkling mountain water no? Besides the edgy cult-like marketing behind it I don't understand the appeal of $15 (for a 12-pack tall boys). "Recyclable aluminum cans" ok so like every other can...PS they have a country club you can join. How pretentious 😂

Just give me a coors light instead
Water is super refreshing. Perfect for people who don't drink but want to "fit in".
To be honest... I'm a hater on this product. It seems like a weird trend. I get that aluminum is more recyclable than PET bottles, but waste is waste. Also, the name feels like an emo band I would've liked in high school. Maybe I'm just not the right audience.

Reusable, not single-use regardless of the material.
Didn't realize this was water due to it's creative packaging! Tasted very clean and not metallic for coming out of a can

Potentially use the aluminum cans that have a screw top. I like to be able to close my drink on the go.
I purchased this water because of the cool, rebellious look of the can but got hooked on the water. I will always repurchase liquid death because of its truly amazing taste. The sparkling version is my favorite with lots of a little bubbles.

I just want this water to be more accessible. It’s always sold out at my local stores!
Really good flavor and nice carbonation, this would be a great nonalcoholic beverage to have at a party.
Feedback
The price is a bit high unless you buy in bulk, but it's a fun drink to have for an event or every once in awhile
Admittedly addicted to this brand. They're doing something so different than the rest of their competitors, and I've found their growth really inspirational. The product itself is water, so I haven't really noticed a taste difference. But their branding and messaging is so fun and inclusive that I can't help but love them. I will say their seltzer has a ton of bubbles which I appreciate.
Feedback
Their mascot is off-putting.
I really like pretty much everything about liquid death. It's the perfect amount of fizzy. Unfortunately, being in Canada, I don't have access to the flavoured versions, yet.

It's just kind of expensive :(

"What is Liquid Death? Is it alcohol? Is it going to kill you?" - my boyfriend Liquid Death is a sparkling water that is very bubbly and underrated. I tried the "Mango Chainsaw" flavor and it was a very good flavor. Not overwhelmingly sweet and I felt like I was drinking a hard seltzer (bc of the look of the can), but really I was just staying cool and hydrated. I'm looking forward to trying more flavors.

I don't fully understand the labeling. While I was drinking it, it felt like I was not their target audience. This sparkling water brand is definitely unique in their marketing strategy in which they literally say: "We’re just a funny water company who hates corporate marketing as much as you do." I'm not sure how much of a market there is for a water that looks like a can of alcohol, but it won't kill you to try it!
Liquid Death water is so good, and the packaging is really cool! It's great at festivals, but I wish they had an option with a screw on cap.
