Liquid Death earns polarizing reviews: many praise its crisp still and sparkling waters, edgy tallboy cans that help non-drinkers blend in at concerts, and recyclable aluminum packaging; others call it “just water,” note metallic or flat tastes, and dislike sweetened flavors and the recent source change to Virginia. Fans highlight flavors like Mango Chainsaw, Severed Lime, Berry It Alive, and teas (Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire), while critics cite bitter stevia aftertaste, limited carbonation, non‑resealable cans, and inconsistent flavor quality.

Liquid Death is a good option for anyone looking for a sustainable and edgy alternative to traditional bottled water.
The perfect amount of bubble, and the flavored versions are not too sweet. The packaging and design at Liquid Death are a little silly, but everything is intentional and sharp. Usually I would say I'm not a fan of the tall can, but it does reduce the inevitable waste from buying packaged water.

My first experience with Liquid Death was at a music festival — granted, it was the only option for water available, but I did enjoy it! Because of it's packaging, it was definitely a lot colder than water in a plastic bottle would have been, which was a huge plus on such a hot day. I think the design concept is very interesting and is perfect for those that want to not stand out as much during social drinking events. I dont think there's anything on the market really comparable to this right now. Overall, I think it's a cool product and I would definitely buy it again. 5/5 because it's water and it was drinkable.
I recently tried Liquid Death and found the taste to be just okay. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't anything particularly special or memorable either. However, I have to say that the branding and marketing for the product is quite unique and attention-grabbing. I appreciate that the company is taking a stand against the wastefulness of single-use plastic water bottles by offering an alternative in the form of aluminum cans that are easily recyclable. Additionally, the brand's tongue-in-cheek approach to marketing their product as "murder your thirst" and "death to plastic" definitely stands out from other beverage brands. However, overall, my experience with Liquid Death was just okay, and I'm not sure that I fully understand the hype and popularity surrounding the brand.
Feedback
While I appreciate Liquid Death's commitment to sustainability and their unique branding and marketing approach, there are a few areas where I believe the brand could improve to make their product more appealing to a wider audience. First, it would be helpful if the brand offered a wider range of flavors. While I understand that the focus is on the water itself, having more flavor options could attract a wider range of consumers who are looking for something a little different. Second, the price point for the product may be a bit high for some consumers. While I understand that the cost of producing and packaging aluminum cans may be higher than traditional plastic bottles, it may be difficult for some consumers to justify the higher price for water. Finally, while the brand's marketing approach is unique and attention-grabbing, it may not be for everyone. Some consumers may prefer a more straightforward approach to product marketing, and the brand's edginess and irreverence may not appeal to everyone. Overall, while Liquid Death is a decent product with a unique marketing approach and a commitment to sustainability, there are some areas where the brand could improve to appeal to a wider audience.
It's just normal sparkling water but something about the packaging is so funny. I admire how this company has built a brand around water.

I love water and I wasn’t a fan of the taste. Love the mission

It's water. But in a can. Looks like you are drinking beer. Easy to recycle.
So so clean and crisp tasting! It always seems colder than it should be (in a good way). Packaging is brilliant.

Price point is a little much for most people.

Considering the cost of this product, I find it ridiculous. It’s water. Just a reminder to anyone who drinks water, any bottle can be filled with it. So, reducing waste by using a can rather than plastic in my opinion is actually more wasteful unless you’re someone who never ever reuse is plastic. regardless, certain platforms have chosen to make this product seem worthwhile. So I suppose decide for yourself if their water is better than any other water.

Great marketing. Packaging is awesome. Makes drinking water look cool. Great looking can for nights out, looks like an alcoholic beverage. Obviously expensive for water. The mango flavor is OK but for the price would like to see more natural flavor options available.

Lower price or more natural flavoring options and different flavors making it worth it ex. Mint and lime)
If your wanting a fun light 8/10 recommend

Alittle better flavors

I think the concept is very clever (blending in with alcoholic drinks) and it's a good sparkling water. I haven't tried the flavored ones yet but I will soon.

This made me a water person
It’s nice to have at concerts and places where people are drinking and you want to blend in. It can be a little expensive.
Love the packaging and the brand, hate the price. The water is… water. Just get a regular bottle

I guess I thought there’d be something special about the water based off the packaging and price. It was just fien
Honestly, I didn't think much of their regular water... I didn't love the taste, but didn't hate it either! I think I first tried this at a Phoebe Bridgers concert because it was what the venue had available. However, I tried the Sparkling Lime flavor at a different concert (and different venue) and became a little bit obsessed. The Sparkling Lime is my go to drink at concert venues!

I, unfortunately, think that the branding is a little bit silly (which is what they are going for) and doesn't appeal all that much to me. It's not that it is bad-- just a little bit over the top for water, hehe.
This is water. I'm amazed that the marketing they've done has brought them such success! Great marketing though, just to say it. I don't mind drinking water out of a can and I like that it's recyclable.

Nice marketing and like that they're available in many places and areas - love the recyclable piece too.
I’ve tried their carbonated water and it’s quite good — very fizzy. That said, in the end it’s just canned water.
I like the mountain water type. It is so good and refreshing

I think the name is neat
