I was able to visit lil sweet treat in NYC - the store is clean, organized, and the sales associate was nice. I understand that they can’t get their hands on the viral large oval bubs, but they do a great job at selecting other candy from around the world that is not only interesting, but delicious. The price point is high, but this is a specialty store and a once-in-a-while “lil sweet treat”.
Lil sweet treat has the fastest shipping of any online candy store I’ve purchased non American candy from. I love that lil sweet treat sells globally sourced candy in addition to delicious Swedish offerings. All the candy I received has been fresh. I’ve had tons of fun trying out different candies that I wouldn’t be able to find elsewhere. My only wish is that they offered more standalone options rather than just their own curated mixes. Some I’ve tried have become new favorites and others have contained candies that no one in my household would eat. Overall they are great and considering lil sweet treat is a newer brand I think they are doing great. I look forward to picking out my own mix in person at their brand new Philadelphia location!
