  • The photo in the website is not at all how they actually appear. The Website shows bright clean looking candy. What you get is dirty looking, ugly, and stale tasting candy. They said they changed their recipe after I complained of the look so their advertising is misleading. Don't trust this company, it could be a waste of money.

  • I've been wanting to try Licorice.com for a while because I'm a huge fan of black licorice and their website shows a sugar free option, which is what I need since I'm a Type 2 Diabetic. The challenge has been that you have to buy at least three online to get free shipping, so I have been suspect to buy three of a sugar-free item without trying it first. Couple weeks ago was in the Charlotte airport on the way home from a business trip in salt lake they had a vending machine selling their various different branded products. I saw that they had the sugar-free option and the vending machine so I decided to buy that for myself and get some caramels for my wife as a gift. Once the machine dispensed the black licorice it turned out to not be sugar free. There was another guy waiting to buy something and he witnessed the whole thing and was also baffled. I immediately contacted customer support and submitted my issue to them before even leaving the Charlotte airport. After a few days of not hearing anything from their customer support I found another method of emailing them at [email protected]. it has been two weeks and I have received zero responses from either inquiry. For the reviews online it seems that this is par for the course regarding their customer service, or lack there of. This seems like a case of BUYER BEWARE!! P s. I did try both products even though they had sugar and I was not impressed by either the black licorice or the sea salt caramels. Pretty basic. Better off going to world market.

  • I tried the 3 flavor sample pack of their sour licorice. It was a canister each of watermelon, blue raspberry, and strawberry. It wasn't traditional style licorice, more like chewy licorice outside with a softer inside and coated in sour powder. The strawberry and the watermelon were my fave but they could be a lot more sour!

  • My mom loves licorice so we ordered a few boxes for Mother’s Day last year! It was really fun to try different flavors and types and she really enjoyed it. Wasn’t the best licorice ever, but good.

  • LICORICE.COM IS A SCAM. Don not buy from this company, everything they say or send is BULLSHIT. I ordered and paid for FED-EX OVERNIGHT DELIVERY and they shipped my package USPS and never arrived. A full week later and still no package. I requested my money back and the said NO. WTF?!? And they continued to send me delivery confirmation emails and still no package. LICORICE.COM is just another scam company designed to separate people from their money. GREED.

  • Ordered 4 types of licorice end of October for my wife at Christmas. They were as hard as a rock. I wrote to them and they told me they only stay fresh for 60 days and they did nothing to resolve. We threw them out. Nothing noting a 60 day shelf life shows up anywhere. Beware, terrible customer service.

  • I got my licorice and it was stale! I absolutely love licorice and thought I finally found a company but I won’t ever deal with them again! They text me that they will send another order but they never did!

  • I placed a $117+ order and never received my product. Not just that, they refunded me 9.99. Don’t order, they are a scam!!!!!

  • Licorice. Com...ABSOLUTELY SUCKS I BOUGHT 2 6PK SAMPLERS TO SHARE AT CHRISTMAS...I WOULDN'T GIVE THIS SHIT AWAY ! DONT BUY

  • I wish I could say how much I liked the licorice. However I never received it. Suffices to say... They don't honor their 2-4 day shipping statement. I have requested a full refund, and of course no response.....STAY AWAY!!!!! SCAM!!!

  • Strawberry licorice tasted very chemically. Sour licorice has weird gummy texture inside

  • To say this is the worst licorice I have ever tried in my life is an understatement. I am an Australian, and I understand what great licorice should be like (check Darrell Lea). This was meant as a gift from my wife; after spending $200 on this box and 6 more containers, we ended up throwing it all away....WHY! This was some of the hardest licorice I have had in my life, I'm talking teeth-breaking hard.....Why is it so hard? There is no seal on the top of the licorice or around the container for one; the other is there is NO date of manufacture or expiration date, so how can this be? After reading the very helpful FAQs on this site, under the general tab, you will find Does Licorice get stale? and yes it does over time and exposure to air. The very helpful FAQ also stated that licorice has a shelf life of 6-12 months.....great! but when was it manufactured???? I'm pretty sure this is a requirement in every country for food manufacturing.....If you wish to remain in business, you may want to address these couple of issues along with PROFESSIONAL responses to customers' emails. I saw where my wife had contacted you and GOAT Foods, and the response was pathetic, to say the least. This was such a disappointing experience not only for me but also for my wife, who went to the trouble of trying to surprise me with what should have been a great gift. Back to old faithful Darrell Lea, where I have never had an issue with ever, and would highly recommend you and anyone else try before purchasing from here.

  • Nicely packaged for gift giving but what I paid for their 6-canister sampler pack, I could likely purchase more than 10 pounds of candy at Five Below.
