At Lemma Labs, we use diagnostics to optimize hair care. Our product is a testing kit called hairID. We collect a hair sample from our customers, perform testing in our lab and deliver a report detailing their hair’s physical properties, such as thickness, porosity, damage level, and product recommendations to specifically address each customer’s unique needs. We started our business, like so many other founders, out of personal frustration. We found ourselves both overwhelmed, confused and disappointed by the hair care product market. Unsure of what to use when, we resorted to trial and error with countless products, which became expensive and wasteful. As a team of scientists and engineers, our aim is to empower customers with accurate, personalized and actionable data about their hair so that they can make informed and successful purchasing decisions.
