Very cute packaging but I do wish it came in larger sizing options. They include many different methods to heat them up which is a nice touch. If you like dumplings these will be a hit, great flavor and texture. We paired it will some chili oil and crushed the bag in one sitting.
Laoban’s Pork and Chive dumplings are an absolute game-changer! They’re perfectly juicy and taste just like you’d get at a restaurant. They’re super easy to prepare when you don't have time at night or lunch and want something cool to eat and the packaging format is perfect to fit in small freezer . Delicious, convenient, and restaurant-quality right at home!
The aroma is wonderfully delicious! The dumpling skin is thin and it turns a bit chewy when cooled. The ginger gave it a nice kick. I can distinguish the ingredients in there like mushroom, ginger and cabbage. One bag is a good portion size for one. The dumpling is full of flavor and no dipping sauce is needed. It is delicious! I saw on their website that they have bao buns, however, there's no vegetarian option available.

I was worried the bun would come out soggy if I heated it in the microwave, but it was surprisingly fluffy. The meat wasn’t my favorite in terms of texture or flavor- a bit sweet for my taste, and there were some chewy hard bits I couldn’t bite through. I haven’t had Chinese bbq pork before so it could just be the way the meat is supposed to be. I think I would have preferred the sesame chicken option. Overall, I feel the product is priced too high and the meat is just okay.
