Kencko earns mixed reviews: the brand delivers convenient, compostably packaged freeze‑dried fruit-and-veg blends with vibrant flavors like Reds, Purples, and Golds that many find delicious and energizing, yet its smoothies often drink more like thin juice and frequently clump or taste gritty. Reviews of Kencko praise easy on‑the‑go nutrition, clean ingredients, and flavor variety, while calling out inconsistent mixing, seedy/grainy texture, occasional blandness, and a repeatedly cited high cost; several recommend using plant milk or a blender for better texture.

It was pretty simple. Just follow instructions on box and enjoy. Very flavorful and smooth. Will be trying other flavors too.

I was really looking forward to trying Kencko because of the convenience and health benefits, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The fact that it doesn’t need to be refrigerated seemed convenient at first, but it left the product tasting less fresh than I hoped. The smoothies had a strange, powdery texture that didn’t feel like a real smoothie, and the flavor was somewhat flat. I appreciate the idea of an easy, shelf-stable option, but the lack of refrigeration made it unappealing and not as enjoyable as I'd imagined.

It tastes delicious. Not chalky like a lot of other brands I have tried in the past. It is ver easy to make. I usually make mine in the morning for breakfast before work.

These are wonderful to make smoothies when traveling or at home with no fresh fruits available! I do like to add frozen fruits and veggies to this. They are amazing!

Great taste for red, blue, green, and yellow. These mix well with coconut milk and are a great breakfast substitute, especially with a blender.

I love the taste and how easy it is. Also that the packaging is compostable and there is no added sugar. I’ve seen a different brand with a semi-similar product, and they have stevia added in, which I hate. I will buy again!

I love the brand and products, however, I'm not happy that it has switched to a subscription order only. I will now probably only buy products stocked locally instead of through the website.

Though on the expensive side but i love bow convenient it is. Just open the pouches and mix with your favorite drink. I tried the greens smootie with green apple and kiwi and surprisingly it was good

I’ve been buying Kencko since before they came out in stores. There’s far more options online at their website BUT my biggest factor in buying Kencko was the fact that I am continually tossing out fruitd and veggies that we have forgot about and the refrigerator due to our crazy busy schedules with kids sports and afterschool activities. Sadly, we have all the intentions in the world to eat our fruits and veggies every day, however we end up not doing so and we become wasteful. In an effort to reduce waste and still obtain a variety of fruits and veggies in our diets, we’ve opted for Kencko’s organic fruits and veggie packets. We love using these with sweetened almond milk because you can easily throw it into a blender with 5 to 6 ice cubes and make a really quick smoothie without adding additional sweeteners. My kids are not a fan of adding the smoothie packs with just water and they are not a fan of adding the smoothie packs without some sort of sweetener which is why I opt to use the sweetened almond milk. I can actually drink them without sweetener and just water. My family’s favorites are the reds, purples and yellows. Mine are the blues. I love the option that that you can take these on the go. If you like your smoothies to have some sort of texture or small chunks in them, then you’ll like them in the shaker bottle that you can get with kencko. If you do not like your smoothies to have chunks then I recommend you use a blender or a really powerful frothing wand. My kids do not like chunks so I make sure that we blend ours right quick and we’re good to go. If you are somebody who travels a lot, you can find blender cups now that you can just take with you and blend on the go. I go with the subscription on their actual website because you get them for slightly cheaper per packet, but they’re not much of a price difference than what you purchase them for in stores; you get a far better variety than the stores. Definitely loving that Kencko just came out with some new flavors and looking forward to their packets including a bit more veggie variations with the fruits. I’d also love to see combinations of the fruits and vegetable packets WITH added protein. I can’t recommend these enough! Ultimately, we’re getting in 2 1/2 to 5 servings of different fruits and veggies every day, that often times we’re not going to stock in our refrigerator. So we’re getting a great variety and it’s all organic without crap. We love Kencko and their mission!

This taste great and I am pooping regularly. It mixes well and you can taste the real fruit. I mix it with coconut or almond milk. Clean up is easy, too. I love the fruit combinations for all the different colors, and it really excites me to know that there is no food coloring to enhance these vivid colors. All natural.

Absolutely loved it! The flavor was excellent, really truly delicious. It had a great texture and mouthfeel, and not chalky at all like I worried. Will buy again!

Really unique concept. I enjoyed trying it and liked the ingredients because it wasn’t anything bad in it. Love how it easily pairs with almond or nut milk for a quick breakfast.

Found it to be hard to shake & mix in bottle without clumping. Good flavor, definitely could taste the fruit but not the greatest texturally. Used it also as a smoothie ingredient in the blender with great results, however, would need to do the math to see if’s comparable to frozen fruit from price perspective. Still a great option for travel, on-the-go occasions.

The nutrition is quite rich, making it suitable for fitness enthusiasts. The taste isn’t very sweet but is relatively healthy.

Great, natural taste. It’s very functional for on the go, however I found it a bit difficult to dissolve. I had to let it sit for a while and then mix. Even then, I’d definitely try again.

This tastes like real food! It's really delicious and the trick is to not use too much water. I love having a smoothie whenever I want without any of the mess of making one.

I loved the smoothie flavors! Mix and match, or better yet, add them in to a blender with other fruits of your choosing! My only issue: the mixing container/drinking cup combo device. I could never seem to get all the powder to hydrate/dissolve with the water or milk or juice I added in…no matter how long i shook and swirled and let rest before resuming, I would always get little powdery clumps. And the sensory changes of a smooth and flowing smoothie interrupted by powder bombs (sorta like tapioca pudding style) threw me off… Like I said though, the packet flavor themselves were delicious and if I use like a personal blender or heck even a fork to just mash up those powder balls a little bit, we were good! But then it’s just kind of defeated the point of the travel shaker blending bottle if I had to use other items to mix it up completely
