  • Clean ingredient formulation
  • Distinct spice flavors
  • Eye-catching packaging
  • Resealable package design
  • Dry and dense texture
  • Muted flavor intensity
  • Sandy mouthfeel
  • Small thin biscuits

Kanira reviews assert the brand delivers a healthy, thoughtfully branded breakfast biscuit that works as a convenient tea- or coffee-dunk companion but divides taste testers: reviewers praise clean ingredients, chai and turmeric flavors, and resealable, eye-catching packaging while repeatedly criticizing a dry, dense, sandy texture and generally muted flavor intensity. This helps buyers who prioritize nutrition and unique spice profiles but warns those seeking moist, sweet, or crisp cookies that Kanira may disappoint.

  • As others have said, these are dry and best when dipped in coffee or tea. The flavors are good but nothing overpowering. They're nice to keep in my desk as a backup breakfast on days I don't have time to prep anything. The price and taste would prevent me from choosing these over a granola bar or similar that's more accessible. The brand claims they are gluten free but has a shared facility warning on the package, I reached out to them to see if they do any testing/what procedures are in place to prevent cross contamination and did not hear back. I like the idea overall but there is room for improvement.

  • I really loved these. It was a fun reminder to slow down during coffee/breakfast so I could enjoy them together. The low amount of sugar was an added perk. I liked the Coconut & Cardamom flavor the best and would buy again.

  • The flavors were fine, but the texture was not great. I understand it's gluten free, but these were so dry and gritty.

  • I was surprisingly disappointed with the taste of these biscuits. They taste like carboard with a slight hint of flavor.

  • I got the variety pack. The chai spice was the best but the flavors sort of blended together. Felt as though they weren’t strong enough—maybe to appeal to a wider audience maybe to keep the formulation how it is. I enjoy these biscuits but they need more snap to them to be more enjoyable. I’ve had these before and felt like the flavors used to be much stronger, not sure if the flavors actually got downplayed or if it was just me. Overall a good concept that still needs some work but excited to see what they do with the thingsdrop feedback

  • Packaging is eye-catching and premise is on the nose as something consumer may want, but the product itself didn't meet expectations. There is more to be desired when it comes to the actual flavors and texture of the biscuits.

  • Not amazing but does the trick. The flavours are not super strong but they are nice with a cup of coffee.

  • These are good, but for me not great. The flavour is pretty mild, and they end up just pasty. It’s a lot of calories for a few biscuits and that would be fine if they were filling—they just aren’t for me. Again, they aren’t bad by any means—just don’t cut it as a breakfast choice for me.

  • I hate to leave bad reviews but these were not for me. The cookies were super dry and not very flavorful. I also didn’t feel like the health benefits were super worth while. These are definitely for someone just not me.

  • Beautiful branding and wonderful product idea; however the product texture and taste needs improvement. I felt that it was too crumbly and tasted too earthy

  • I tried all 3 flavors from Kanira through a thing testing drop. I enjoy the unique flavors and the unique experience the flavors and brand bring to breakfast. My favorite flavor, if i were to choose would be the Tumeric & Ginger (orange bag). Although i enjoy their uniqueness, and plant-based approach, I found them honestly to be on the dry side for me. I also have a sweet tooth so i found them to be a little dull as well. If i were to compare them to anything, i would say the flavor and texture is that of unsweetened/savory ginger-snaps, they also resemble the same shape, and texture. I think because they resemble a cookie, I thought they would have a more sweet element than savory, but that was not the case. The package was well designed and i very much appreciate the zip-lock closure on each package.

  • Kind of bland? These taste like something I could bake myself, unfortunately.

  • Unfortunately, I did not like these. All three flavors tasted very similar and they taste was not very good. They weren't sweet but weren't savory either. It felt like they were missing something

  • I really wanted to like them, but they were almost inedible. The only one I actually could stand eating was the Chai flavor. I really thought these would have more flavor, but it didn't really taste like much. The listed flavor was a vague aftertaste that didn't linger on the tounge at all. The texture was a soft cookie and I thought that was fine, but I couldn't get over the lack of taste.

  • These biscuits were an absolute disaster in terms of taste and texture. First of all, they were as hard as a rock. It felt like I was attempting to eat a brick rather than a breakfast item. And if the hardness wasn't bad enough, the dryness took it to a whole new level of awful. It's like they were baked in the Sahara desert and left out to fossilize. These biscuits had all the flavor of cardboard – bland, lifeless, and utterly unappetizing. I could barely distinguish any semblance of flavor, and what little taste there was did nothing to redeem these biscuits from their cardboard-like fate. Save yourself the disappointment and opt for literally anything else.

  • I have tasted the Bahri cookies and were amazing and tasty. Gluten free.

    Look forward to tasting more

  • Good snack for a quick, healthy and satisfying breakfast when I don’t have time to make a full meal. Tasty flavors and super good with tea!

They’re a bit pricey, but good when I’m looking to splurge.

  • Loved the spice flavors and the texture of these biscuits, and love knowing that they use healthy sustainable ingredients.

Would love to see them in a bigger size package

  • Kanira biscuits are great for a quick snack anytime of the day, but particularly for breakfast with tea! As a new mom, this really helps me to still get some (delicious!) breakfast routine despite the little time! Will continue buying regularly :)

    Feedback

I love the taste and convenience, no need to change anything!

  • I tried all three varieties and loved each one! They taste delicious and are hearty. They are made with clean ingredients and aren’t overloaded with sugar — so no guilt when eating these compared to other grab and go breakfast options. Honestly, I found myself munching on these throughout the day when I needed a little snack in between meal. I would highly recommend these!

The three flavors are amazing. Would love to see more options in the future — possibly inspired from various Indian mithai or sweets (carrot halwa, ras malai, kaju katri, etc.)!
