I tried Jovial’s organic gluten free truffle Mac & cheese. It was okay. I am not the largest fan of box Mac & Cheese in general, but I will say that I really liked the pasta noodle in this Mac & cheese. I liked the chewiness and slight crunch in the texture as box Mac & cheeses are normally super soft. Was especially amazed at its texture as it’s gluten free! I did not like the sauce itself and there wasn’t much of a truffle flavor. The truffle flavor is very faint and you will only really taste it as an end note. This sauce is better than other boxed Mac & cheese, but I found it too salty and had an artificial taste which is always present in all powder cheeses. I ended up adding more milk to balance out the flavor. Overall, in terms of boxed Mac & cheeses, this is one of the best options out there. Note - the noodles itself only fill up half of the box so it’s a pretty small serving.

I like the Mac n cheese. It is one of the best gluten free pasta brands I’ve had. I love that it is convenient but also high quality

This was not the best mac and cheese because of the texture of the pasta, I do notice this issue with gluten free pasta. Flavor was good, I believe this would be a great alternative for those who cannot consume regular pasta.
I really love the taste of the pasta that's included in this brand's mac and cheese, but the flavor packets themselves aren't as good. The white cheddar one is decent, but the vegan one isn't great. I've had better vegan mac and cheese.

I've purchased quite a few things of Jovial's from Whole Foods, and I've had a mixed experience - some of their products are incredible, and others are pretty meh. For context, my husband is Celiac with an entire family allergic to gluten, so we eat entirely gluten free. Jovial absolutely nails their gluten free pasta. 5/5 for the GF farfalle, especially - I use it when not only making pasta, but making homemade gluten free soup as well. It absolutely crushes in a GF chicken noodle! Their shells, tagliatelle, and fettucine are really good too. I think they make one of the best gluten free pastas available, honestly. When it comes to Jovial's other stuff, I'm less enthused. Their cookies and crackers are beyond dry and extremely crumbly. Definitely don't recommend those. TLDR: If you're buying Jovial for GF options, stick to their pastas! They're awesome - other stuff, proceed with caution.

I liked the texture of the pasta. The powdered white cheddar was good and had an authentic taste and smell to it like real cheese! The things I did't like was how little of the macaroni noodles came in the box , and how little of the cheese powder came in the box. And they only have two flavors as of right now they need to expand them. The price is pretty affordable at $3.99 but not sure if the small amount of noodles and cheese powder they put in there measure up to the price?! I do recommend this gluten-free mac and cheese to anyone with gluten intolorence though!

I stumbled upon this brand at Whole Food and wanted to try their Mac n cheese. I was pretty shocked at how good the box Mac n cheese was! The noodle is rice noodle and it’s so chewy and soak up all that sauce! I add pepper and more cheddar to elevate and boy oh boy.
